The boats are very old, and beat up, for the price you pay it's not worth it, we paid $100 an hour, they told me everything was included, then they charge me $50 for gas for two hours, the boat was in very bad shape, the motor trim did not work, the steering wheel was very tight and hard to move the engine, steering was difficult, the boat was very dirty, in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance, these guys need to buy a new boat, Granville Island is much cheaper, $85 an hour instead of $100 an hour and they had much better boats, will not rent from coal Harbour boat rentals again

Rented 18 foot, 90HP boat on 6/2018. We had a great time boating up to the north east and viewing all the big ships, water planes landing, and scenery. The boat was clean well maintained and easy to drive. We had 4 adults and one child and it performed well as we motored abound for 2 hours. We brought food from the local market and jackets which made the trip even more enjoyable. The staff was helpful in describing where to go and how to operate the boat.

We waited 45 mins and the owner never showed up, and he didn't pick up his phone either. when asked by the shops around where the owner possibly could be, i got the feeling that hes done this before, and looking at the reviews here only confirms it.

I'm surprised other people had such bad experience. Ours was fantastic. We did have a reservation first thing in the morning at 10 am, because they don't take reservations after 12 pm when it's first comes first served.
Pierre was super nice (and hot, too). He recommended to take a 18 instead of a 16, because the wind picked up a bit and he didn't want us to have too choppy a ride. Since due to the wind, there was a cancellation of of one of the 18's, we were able to take that. It cost a bit more, but safety and a less bumpy ride was worth it we thought.

The boats are old and look terrible. I was actually glad that the owner never showed up for work, leaving 4 groups of people waiting for an hour and a half without notice all while not replying to any phone calls. Eventually a lady came to tell us all that the owner will not be coming today. Very unprofessional, and the condition of the boats shows that the owner simply does not care.
To add to the insult he advertises the newest and best fleet of boats in Vancouver: what a lie! We went to the boat rental on Granville Island and got a brand new boat, for less money and from people that really

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat rental and our boating trip through Coal Harbour and around Stanley Park.

Customer service was great. We were given life jackets and since we aren't necessarily seasoned boaters, we were given a run-through on how to operate the boat. The boat was in good clean condition. Our daughter went with us and they had a life jacket to fit her.

My only gripe is that we didn't rent it for a longer duration! We will definitely be back when the weather warms up!
