Dr. Major completed his general Dentistry and Orthodontics Specialty training at the University of Alberta. During his education, he won numerous awards, including the Gold Medal in Dentistry for graduating first in his class and the James McChutcheon Honors Award for outstanding academic achievement over the four-year program.

The ideal time for a child's first orthodontic exam is 8 years of age. Early evaluation provides the best opportunity to assess children's dental development and growth. Early treatment corrects minor concerns and addresses oral habits (thumb sucking, tongue function). Multi-phased treatment works with a child's growth to create space for successful eruption of permanent teeth or to address unbalanced jaw development.
Metal braces are the most common. Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive than ever before. Being made of high-grade stainless steel they are hypo-allergenic and have the design & strength to maneuver teeth in complex situations. Advanced technology in braces makes treatment more comfortable and less visible.
The Invisalign braces treatment system is a set of removable, clear aligners customized by an orthodontist to reposition a patient's teeth. More commonly used for minor dental correction treatments, Invisalign has developed their product to manage more complex dental malocclusions. The first step to your customized Invisalign orthodontic treatment plan is to find out whether or not you are a candidate for the treatment in the first place.

Two of my children have gone through the braces saga and Align was by far the more positive experience.
The ladies who work there are friendly and helpful and never seem to be too busy to answer questions or help out in any way they can.
They have a section where kids can play games and you check in by logging into their system at a kiosk. You are welcome to go into the back area where your child is whenever you are there to check and see how things are going or just hold the hand of an uneasy first-timer.
The staff are also very encouraging to the patients, learn their names and treat them
