In 1986, Shelburne Primary EyeCare opened its doors for the first time. Our desire to bring approachable, friendly eye care to Shelburne was met with great enthusiasm, and we've been happily growing ever since. In 2005, we moved to our current location on First Avenue. Having built our office from the ground up, we're very proud of our building and love hearing the compliments we often get on our decor and design.

SPEC has always been a terrific place for FAMILY EYE CARE! After treating my family for years with nothing but the best in quality care, today's visit was no exception. A retinal picture showed a abnormality that caused concerned to my doctor taking several more pictures before feeling confident that I could be sent home without concern, although a follow-up visit was scheduled within a few weeks to check on the situation further. Over the years I've been treated with a couple of eye situations where, in hind sight, if not for Shelburne Primary Eye Care, I truly believe the outcomes would not have

Excellent experience, staff are great and very professional! They made me feel very comfortable throughout my eye exam and were sure to take care of the cleanliness of the whole office before and after I had my exam by sanitizing and disinfecting the chairs and other tools. This was my first experience here and it was over expectations

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the women at this facility are. I broke my glasses and they squeezed me in last minute for an appointment at 630pm. By 11am the next day, I had my new customized pair of glasses. The staff, the doctors and the facility are all simply amazing. Couldn’t thank them enough.

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Dr Sandra Gillis Kennedy and her staff today! Oliver has wanted contact lenses for some time and today Erica sat with Oliver for nearly two hours so patiently, encouraging him every step of the way as he stayed so determined. Staff came in to offer help and encouragement and the whole office cheered when he finally did it. A great clinic and all the staff are extremely kid friendly! Tonight Oliver said he had a great day and was beaming all day! It takes a village and today my village was Shelburne Primary Eye Care. Thank you ❤️
