Not sure on 'The Canadians' problem. We have worked with Altech for over 5 years and have always had good quality products and excellent customer service. For the rare times that there is any issues (which is standard in the construction industry) they would immediately replace and do whatever was needed to make it right.
They are highly ethical people and it has been a pleasure working with them over this time.
They do many large scale projects and would have plenty of references (including myself) that would be happy to vouch for them.
We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with

The owner orders his "stainless steel" bolts and hardware overseas to save money and the base plate bolts start to rust within the first few months.
The owner also has illegal work practices he implements when and if you try to comply with work safe BC standards such as withholding his workers T4's and Firing them if injuring yourself at the work place. (Most people know that's illegal, what other don't realize is no one cares if they "don't do it often")
They also have a large issue with defective products that come off there "line", a lot of the time pieces are replaced, built wrong, even painted
