Taekwondo is an approach to the martial arts, that teaches more than the physical skills of fighting. It is a discipline that instills ways of enhancing our spirit and life through physically training our body and mind. Taekwondo has become a worldwide sport that has ascertained an international reputation, and is among one of the Olympic games.
Grand Master Bruce Chang founded Chang's Taekwondo Martial Arts in 1995. He was full of enthusiasm and excited to share the knowledge of Taekwondo here in Beautiful British Columbia. He started Taekwondo Martial Arts in Oh Do Kwan in 1962 when he was 13 years old. Since then he has continued to train throughout his life and has truly become a living legend in the martial art.

Chang's Taekwondo Demo Team is our extremely exciting and high-performing team. Students will learn stage performance, exciting moves, dynamic movement, and teamwork. If you've ever wanted to perform or be part of TV stunts and movies, Chang's Demo Team is for you! You will be learning under a top world-class demonstration Instructor and you receive a one-of-a-kind experience.
Want to learn world top class sparring skills? Come and join us. Our Elite Sparring Team is made up of students who want to take their sparring to a higher level. Wishing to learn the Olympic level sparring and go for gold at competitions? With our structured program, you will learn and train the most efficient drills here with Chang's Elite Sparring Team!

Went to a birthday party there with my 4 year old . My wife and I were blown away with the integrity and genuine caring nature of the instructors. The respect vibe was palpable. Instructors were passionate and dedicated to making a positive impact on participants. Best birthday party I’ve ever been to and plan on registering our son for the program.
