We will achieve this by instituting equal opportunity to all gymnasts regardless of ability level, continuous professional development of our coaching team and promoting gymnastics as a lifelong activity and lifetime career. At North Edmonton Gymnastics, we believe in the benefits of exercise, challenge and working together.
We strive to advance the joy of movement and to allow our athletes of all ages, backgrounds, levels and abilities to achieve their goals in a safe and healthy environment. Whether recreational or competitive, we want our athletes to thrive in an environment that fosters friendship, inclusiveness, leadership and character development as much as fitness and competition.

Services
North Edmonton Gymnastics Club is proud to offer a variety of recreational programs. At NEGC we embrace the motto "fun, fitness and fundamentals" in all of our classes and do our very best to help gymnasts of all ages and abilities feel successful in their pursuit of this amazing sport. Whether you are 2 or 85, we have a program for you!
This is a coach-directed, parent-assisted 45-minute class that incorporates social interaction with others and fundamental movement patterns. These preschool development skills include hanging, swinging, rolling, balancing, and object manipulation. The goals of this class are to assist the child to then transition easily into the non-parented preschool gymnastics program and begin their lifelong love of movement!
CANGYM is Canada's National Skill Development Program. It was created by coaches, to be used in recreational gymnastics programs for participants of all ages. To provide resource material that complements the Level 1 and 2 National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Gymnastics curriculum. The most important ingredients in any gymnastics program are enthusiastic, well-prepared coaches.
At this time, NEGC's Pre-school and Adult Drop-In programming continues to be paused. We are working diligently to create a program where we can ensure all AHS guidelines are followed at all times. We thank you for your continued patience and support and cannot wait to once again incorporating this program!
Our woman's program is for girls aged 4+. These girls have shown an above-average ability in the sport of gymnastics and a desire to work in a focused, disciplined manner to achieve their goals as competitive gymnasts.
This program will focus on training strength and conditioning, flexibility & skill development on the 4 women's apparatus (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise), and routine composition for competitive opportunities.

Our twin boys loved their Tumble Bear classes at NEGC! Their coaches, Victoria and Alyssa, were engaging, skillful and kind. Each week they set up different circuits to encourage the kids to try out new movements and equipment. This kept the classes interesting (our boys were never bored). Highly recommend!

Its a beautiful facility but the class sizes are too big and the kids are not being safely supervised. The coaches are way too young to be left alone with a group. And if they have an assistant they are busy talking and not paying attention to the class. There seems to be a lot of talking and not much coaching. You attempt to bring your concerns to management and they are terrible to deal with. Not very receptive. IF they return your calls/emails!

Came in today for our first drop in play. The staff were great and even took my son to explore while I did intial paperwork. Seemed clean and organized. It was a lot of fun for a 22 month old. At the end they had a little dance party and stamps for the kids. This was more than I expected. Keep up the wonderful work.

I had my son in there for a couple years and things are fine until you need to talk to someone. We wanted clarification from one of the coaches “Alex” about our sons last report card. He wasn’t available until you signed up for the next class. The staff were unable to answer any questions and things kept getting forwarded to coach who wasn’t available by phone. Basically I would have to show up after a class he was working and hope he had time. Several emails were left along with phone calls. Emails took a few days to respond by someone other than coach. It was a frustrating experience

Staff are friendly and organized, and keep the kids interested (including the preschool/toddlers) by keeping the activities paced appropriately, and using lots of encouragement (and fun weekly themes). My daughter took several classes, and I highly recommend Ms Vicki, Ms Shelley, Ms Kelly, and the head coach, who stops by to encourage the kids. Never felt competitive or pushy. I was impressed by what my daughter could learn and see her confidence grow.
