Services
All classes are held in our spacious 11,533 square foot, fully equipped gymnastics facility. Highlights include an in-ground pit full of foam, an in-ground trampoline as well as specialized mats and equipment designed specifically for tots! All our coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and are certified in First Aid & CPR, and Respect In Sport.
To provide the opportunity for each gymnast to demonstrate and compete for Horizon Gymnastics Club. To provide a training facility that is safe and an environment that is conducive to effective training. To promote overall personal development including self-discipline, motivation, courage, dedication, and good sportsmanship.
All gym activities are led by a certified coach and includes 1 hour in the gym and 1 hour in the party room. Two coaches are needed for parties with 15 or more children. If your party is booked for 15 children and less than 15 show up the party will still be charged for 15 children to pay for the additional coach.
At Horizon Gymnastics we recognize that not all families have the financial ability to enrol their children in organized sport. Here are a few organization's that may provide financial assistance. Canadian Tire's JumpStart Program is an organization that offers funding to qualifying families. KidSport is another funding program that offers financial assistance to qualifying families.
All cancellations must be done prior to the start of the third class, refunds will be given less the cost of the classes attended and are subject to a $20 administration fee. Only exception is refunds due to family relocation or with a doctor's note. If your desired program is full, add your child to the waitlist and see if another class could possibly suit your needs.

Not sure how qualified the coaches are. The class my child is in is one of the most unorganized classes I have ever seen.
Improper spotting, coach’s not paying attention, it’s only a matter of time before a child gets hurt.
The coach’s provide the children contradictory instructions and then get frustrated at the children for not conducting the movements properly.
I would highly suggest looking at other facilities and if you do decide to take your child here, pay close attention and speak up if you see the coach’s not paying attention. If the expectation is for children to act a certain

This fall i have watched my 10 yr old grand daughter wander aimlessly around with very little guidance or instruction There is often kids who get longer time eg. trampoline and who run in front when someone trying to do runs and flips. There appears sometimes to be gymnasts on their own detracting from any of instruction and i use the word instructing loosely. I often can not tell instructors from older students. Willy nilly and unorganized are my take aways. It is more like a free style play hour.

My daughter attended 2 seasons and really enjoyed her time with horizon
One of her coaches didnt pay much attention to her and I feel this is due to having too many kids in a class
My daughter expressed to me many times she felt ignored by her coach and I said maybe that is because you are so amazing and gifted at gymnastics 😊
Thank you horizon will miss attending

I have found Horizon Gymnastics to be a positive environment for my daughter. The experienced staff understands the needs of children. It's not about being the best, it's about being the best you can be. Those who are exceptional will succeed and those who aren't will find a home where they can take the time to develop their abilities, be healthy, and thrive.
