I booked a cab to pick me up at a hotel at 4am for a 6am flight. When they arrived, they took another ride and left us stuck and late for the airport. I called the dispatch and the guy said it wasn’t his fault and when I tried to suggest that they maybe talk to their drivers about confirming who they’re picking up, he hung up on me.

I booked a ride to the airport 3 days in advance and got a confirmation email. 5 minutes before the booked time the ride was cancelled. I called to ask why and they said they didn’t do pick up at my address, even though they confirmed the booking. Luckily another company had a car close by so it didn’t mess up my trip. I know which company I’m not calling next time

4 females took a taxi from airport at 2am to extended long term parking lot. We took a taxi due to lack of options at that time. The driver argued with one of us about him not wanting to enter the paid lot to drop us at our vehicle for fear of having to pay 4.50. We knew he would not be charged as we did just that few says ago. We agreed to pay the extra 4.50, even though we knew that he would not be charged entering and exiting the lot. He was prepared to let 4females walk through the parking lot at 2am, 3 out of the 4 of us are elders. Sad a driver would treat 4females this way.

Left my cellphone in a cab and go it back so quick! Very thankful to the Richmond Taxi team. Took a cab from the airport so didn't have specifics for the cab we took. 10 minutes after being dropped off I realized I left my phone in the cab and it was on silent. I called Richmond Cab and the dispatcher put a call out to all cabs immediately saying someone lost a phone. I touched base with the cabbie shortly and was rest assured they had my phone and it would be in the office for pick up. Very grateful to the team!

At approx 4:20pm on Sat Oct 2 near the intersection of 120 St & 99 Ave, I witnessed Richmond Taxi R125 make a very sudden lane change in front of another car, causing this other car to swerve in order to avoid being hit by the Richmond Taxi that was encroaching into its lane.
Unfortunately, the second car ended up sideswiping another car while it was avoiding the Richmond taxi.
After pulling over to let the collision drivers know what I saw and provide my details, I thought I'd call Richmond Taxi to let them know what I had seen their driver do.

Phoned ahead in the evening to reserve a taxi for early in the morning in order to go to a 6am flight. We luckily left plenty of time because our taxi did not show up at the requested time and it took three more calls to get one. When the taxi did show up, the guy gave us a big song and dance about how it cost them money to go pick up fares that maybe wouldn't be there, and that's why no one came. I don't use taxis a lot as I usually stick to transit. But sometimes you are in a pinch and you need to get home or get to work on time and you need one. Whatever the circumstances are, they will get you to where you need to go. Their drivers are nice and do not give you a hard time about paying with a card like the cabs in Vancouver do.

I have used this co. on a regular basis for some time now/estimated at 5 years .....traveling with them apprx 2x/month.
Yesterday my driver was on time/courteous. When the passenger door was opened for me I couldn't help but see that the driver was in the middle of his lunch hour. He hadn't wiped his mouth of a sandwich (??}.
The smell in the cab was something I have never had the pleasure of inhaling prior to now. In addition, the cab was dirty. Because it was a snowy/wet/winter day....I consider the dirt unavoidable.
When I inquired what the fragrance was......the driver asked

The service is so bad that I started to think that they are actually trying to avoid business at all cost. It has been several occasions that the cab I called never came and completely ruined my schedule. Last time I called a cab and waited for an hour just to find out someone else has taken the one I called and the operator told me to wait another 10minutes but I waited 25. And I just called one 35 minutes ago and waited till now. And the driver actually called me asking if I am still waiting.

We ordered a taxi for 4:30 am before a very early flight. The driver showed up on time and was very kind. He informed us about timing of making our flight and how long security and customs would take, which was much appreciated. The fare was fair, and they take credit cards.
Seeing as there is no Uber of Lyft in Canada as of yet, this was a pleasant experience of ordering a ride in a different (and more traditional) way.

I always take richmond taxi atleast 1-2x a week and the girl on the dispatch and drivers in the morning are very kind, polite and helpful. Last night i took a richmond taxi with my daughter from Walmart. This taxi driver never said Hi/Hello and smiled. never Even offered to help carry some things (unlike the other drivers). Every time the car stops, the car is shaking and it wasn't a smooth ride! I regret giving him a tip as i gave him the benefit of the doubt. I would like to say that I have not nor will I ever be a customer of this taxi service!
I almost got ran over twice be the cab driver that was not looking, he was in fact staring at the doors of my hotel while driving his car into me and my dog. I had to report it to the hotel and thankfully it is on video! to stop his car from going any further I had to bang on his wind shield to ma him aware.

I always tell the dispatcher the time that I want to be picked up PLUS 5 mins, because the drivers always arrive and call you 5-10 mins before your call time, and if you're not there in their car with 2 mins of that call, they blast your phone. Kinda ridiculous because even locking up takes longer than 2 mins. I don't need you blasting my phone at 6 am.
If you're travelling from the YVR airport, there's a set price for your area (I think the max is like $35).

As a regular rider, The drivers are usually kind but I found lately they drivers are getting upset that you are 2 to 5 minutes off the time. They will also lecture you the whole way a few drivers making you want to mean to them and yet I try not to be as they do work hard and long hours.

Super rude on the phone as soon as I called. Hung up on me after he said he couldn't find my address. Called back and they didn't even pick up. Third time, equally as rude and I even suggested to walk out to another location just to use their service.

Absolutely horrible! Worst taxi company in the greater Vancouver area.
After telling a driver the quickest way to get to my house, him challenging me, he then takes me home and decides not to help get my luggage out of the vehicle and just sits in the car.
I would rather walk than give my money to this poor excuse for a company.

Awful. After just landing, I FLAGGED a cab to take me to a liquor store. We showed up, but it was closed. Then, he said " yeah all the liquor stores are closed at this time"
WHY DIDN'T you tell me this BEFORE we started the trip? I was thinking. ON THE WAY BACK I saw a few restaurants. I asked him to stop, so I could see if they were open.
