They were a no-show despite that we pre-booked a taxi days in advance online to get a family member to the hospital for surgery. The taxi did not notify us they would be late or not coming. I called and was told, "sorry, I have no cabs available, find someone else". With only 15 min to get to the hospital, my family member had to scramble to find public transportation (which is obviously slower and not ideal prior to an operation when it's Covid and flu season). The taxi eventually called well after the hospital check in time. We will not be using this taxi company again next time we're in Vancouver

Ordered a cab and waited indefinitely. Called a few times to check for an ETA and kept getting the same recorded message telling me it shouldn't be too long. After 45 minutes of waiting outside in the cold I finally booked a Uber. When I called again to cancel, I found out that my cab had already been canceled, with no explanation or apology. Disgraceful!

Hands down the most trustworthy taxi company in the city. I left a bag of high value in the taxi on a busy Saturday night and the team did everything in their power to get it back to me. The dispatcher Dhruv is honest and incredible at his job - he went out of his way to make sure my bag was returned to the right person and with every single item untouched. Shout out to Sukh who returned my belongings within a timely and professional manner. A life long customer has just been gained and I will be recommending this company to all of my friends. Since we had ordered a taxi for someone who needs a wheelchair, though they CAN walk for short distances, it would have been nice if the cab driver had explained to us that we could have placed the person in the wheelchair before loading. We aren't yet experienced with needing this assistance and it turned out that the person had a very difficult time getting into the vehicle as the seat was quite high for her. But at least we know for next time.

I want to make a complaint that last Week at night around 2:30am I book a taxi to drive me from Vancouver to New West because I was moving. the taxi driver said I’m gonna charge you $20 for cargo fees. I went in a taxi i ask him do you take taxi vouchers because it was my first time taking taxi. I had $120 taxi voucher coupons. the taxi driver ask me where u get the taxi voucher I said I got it from my social worker then he said gave it to me so I gave it to him and he counted it $90 vouchers and he said do you have more then I said yah I gave him $30 extra and he count $120 taxi vouchers all

I love the new phone automated booking service instead of waiting on hold for an operator! It took 30 seconds to book my cab and it arrived within 5 minutes. I also got a call when the cab was curbside and got a text with a link to leave feedback about the driver upon completing the ride. Impressed with the ease of this new booking system.

Booked a taxi 3 hours ahead of the time I wanted to leave using the mobile app. They never showed up at the time I booked them for. Called the company and an automated service said a car had not yet been assigned but they would be there soon. Had 10 minutes to get to my appointment, so called another cab company and they were there in 2 minutes.
Thought booking the cab ahead if time would guarantee a taxi when I needed it, but they totally dropped the ball. Not using this company again.

My wheelchair bound wife needed transport to go to a dentist. Arrangements were made the previous day with Vancouver taxi. The driver, Param, arrived on time and took care of all the procedures to get her safely into his taxi. He drove safely, no cause for anxiety. He was reliable when it was time for the return trip. The last taxi I took before this one was Yellow Cabs - a two hour wait with the dispatcher constantly promising it is only two minutes away - NO MORE YELLOW CABS FOR ME, I am sticking with Vancouver Cabs as it was a pleasant experience.

I would ride a horse to my destination as opposed to riding Vancouver Taxi!!! I reserved a Vancouver Taxi by telephone for myself and my family, and was told by the dispatcher that our cab would arrive curbside in 2 minutes...35 minutes later, after an undeserved and inconsiderate "no-show" we decided to walk to our destination. We returned from our destination very expediently via a competitor's taxicab.

We needed to grab a taxi to take us to YVR, we didn't want to drag our luggage through town to get to the metro station from our airb&b.
The prices were reasonable it wasn't bad. We called the night before to book a pick up for 8am. That was easy to do no problem. We ended up waking up early so we decided to call them to move our pick up time by an hour. I was on hold for what seemed like forever until someone answered. I asked for an earlier pick up and they sent someone right then. About 5 minutes later they showed up. Our driver was quiet but he drove pretty fast. Which was nice

Should you ride with these guys? That depends, I've witnessed these guys play chicken against oncoming traffic just to avoid one way, I even had one guy focusing so much on his little fare screen he nearly rear ended me and drove into the bike lane on expo Blvd. So, if you are hoping to take a chance that you may not arrive at the destination alive? Go for it, these guys will happily oblige!

Called for a taxi and was told he would send it. Waited about 30 minutes and called back. He acted surprised it wasn't there and again said he'd send one. Third time I called, he gave me another number to call which was the Yellow cab company. Based on my experience unlikely to ever try them again but at least he gave me another number instead of just telling me they should be there.

Used this Vancouver taxi service several times. Installed the app on my phone. On two occasions trips were cancelled by the driver while en route and one time the app never confirmed a ride request. Called the dispatch office. Voicemail call waiting was 7 minutes with no answer and I hung up. Waited 15 minutes for a no show car.
Called Black Top taxi. A car arrived 5 minutes after a ride request was submitted on their phone app.
Vancouver taxi lost my patronage. Deleted the app from my phone.

I just want to share this bad experience with everyone here.
I took the taxi this night, the driver didn't pay attention to what I was asking, I've asked him to stop earlier than agreed, he ignored me, I was yelling hey sir hey sir ... but nothing the man was like deaf ... he was busy talking on the phone instead of paying attention to the customer.
I was really disappointed, this is UNACCEPTABLE !!! (It's not a free ride)
I will give 0 star but that's not possible here, I've been taking taxis very frequently but never had this kind of service.

I had a voucher and so called to get the ride to my destination (stating I had a voucher). He said a driver would be there soon. Unlike most experiences here, the driver was there within 10 minutes.
The taxi van was really beat up. The outside looked fine (no dents, washed, etc) but when the door slid open, the state of the interior was appalling. The van looked like a pack of dogs had gone through it or children were allowed to do as they please. There were rips, dirt on the ground, the mats weren't even straight (some were diagonal even), and it just looked sad. I can honestly say in the
