K16S asked if I was paying cash , then gave me a hard time because I said I was on debt , when the flat rate came up to $32 from YVR to down town and I asked him to make it a even $35 he said , “ only a three dollar tip?” I know it’s a low percentage, but I tip according to service, if he didn’t ask me me to pay cash and I didn’t have to say my address three times and spell out “Richards “ he would have gotten more , called to complain at there dispatch, they where very Receptive, and Concerned about the drivers attitude

YVR to Van. Cab#7. Driver was rude, didn't wear a mask, and lied about not accepting VISA. Why lie and force cash payment? Are they fishing for tips or practicing tax evasion?
Will go with something with a rating system next time. 100% Uber >Kimber
Update: customer support confirmed that all of their cabs accept VISA. They also said that the same drivers drive the same cars, but just went ahead and dismissed our concerns and said that it wasn't possible that their drivers were rude and to quote "are you sure it was Kimber cabs?" "That's just not very believable", then hung up on me.

Our driver picked us up at the airport and had an attitude from the start. We had a baby in the car and he was speeding aroand flyingund the corners. At the end we paid the flat rate and he made a comment saying oh you don't tip? As I was unhappy with the service I didn't tip. He just crumpled up the paper and threw it. Terrible service.

Driver was courteous and helpful, BUT I rated low because we pre-scheduled the taxi and called to confirm it for ride to the airport to catch our International flight; however they arrived 20 min after scheduled time! Nearly made us miss our check-in time. We only had 4 min to spare when arrived at check in. They in our experience can't be trusted to be punctual even when scheduled in advance.

AVOID! Scammed by driver of cab #4! We gave driver $25 for our ride and he swapped out the $20 for a $5 and demanded we pay the difference to make up the $22 fare. Called to notify the dispatch and they were not helpful at all.
Driver was also terrible. Almost hit 2 cyclists, went off the road once, speeding 30km above limit, and didn't wear his own seat belt the entire ride.

My experience today makes me understand why local cab companies are fighting Uber tooth and nail. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Booked a cab to YVR two days in advance and had a no show while calling twice to dispatch and getting voicemail. Drove my own car instead, but will have to pay over $20 more because it was not booked in advance.
I chose them because they had better reviews than other Richmond cab companies, but I should have known better as they did not reply to an email asking for estimated fare and booking online is a joke as it asks for a date but not a time. I would never try

Driver, Peter S., was excellent. Polite, courteous and pleasant to chat with. Cab was one of the cleanest I've been in - seats and carpet very clean, no air-freshener (thank you) and did not have any bad smells like tobacco as so many do.
The reason for 4 stars was that the person that took my call was extremely difficult to understand, and I had to keep repeating my location to him. After saying it 5 times and spelling it twice, he got it. He said that the cab would be 10 - 15 minutes but arrived in 6!
