Services
After growing up in Edmonton and studying in the United States, two young, ambitious optometrists came home to tackle the eye care world by opening Visionary Eye Centre in 2011. Dr. Aujla and Dr. Delhon continue to operate their optometry clinic in Sherwood Park, strengthening their reputation with every patient who walks through the door.
Upon your first visit to our Sherwood Park clinic, we will acquire some personal and medical information from you. Please bring your insurance information and, for those with a prescription, we ask that you bring all your prescription eyewear and contact lens boxes. To get a better understanding of how you use your eyes, the doctor will ask you about your lifestyle and work requirements, and about your family's medical and ocular history.
Eye exams are tailored to your child's age, development, and language abilities. Your optometrist will do everything they can to make sure your child is comfortable during the exam, while ensuring their eye health. Eye exams for infants are more subjective because babies cannot communicate what they see.
As you age, your eyes age along with you. Age-related eye diseases can lead to vision impairment and even blindness if left untreated. The doctors at Visionary Eye Centre are dedicated to keeping your eyes in their best possible health. Early detection of these diseases gives us a chance to prevent further damage and to slow the progression.
Sometimes, glasses just aren't the right fit. Whatever your reason for wanting to wear contact lenses, we'll help you find the right contacts for your eyes. A contact lens exam is somewhat similar to an eye exam. We ask you questions about your medical history, which helps us narrow down which contacts are right for you.

My spouse and I were each in line for new prescription glasses. When arriving we were greeted with a receptionist who took my info and then set us up with Audra. From then our experience was seamless. Between choosing frames, the initial exam, then the doctor herself and back to Audra for the purchase, it could not have been smoother. Audra also had plenty of knowledge and did not force and particular product, however, really explained what was good, great or bad for our lifestyle. Therefore we feel very confident we got exactly what we need for work and play. Thank you Audra!!! Highly recommended

I went for an eye appointment yesterday & was very happy with the outcome. The doctor answered all of my questions & even suggested that I shouldn’t get contacts since it would interfere with my close up reading abilities so they’re there to help people and not just to up sell things. Also, Audra was so friendly & helpful helping me pick new glasses and took her time, I didn’t feel rushed like I did in the past at other places so in all, it was a great productive experience 😊

Visionary is my regular optometrist and they have always been very friendly and helpful. Today I needed an emergency eye exam, they were able to accommodate me quickly, diagnose and give me a prescription and direct billed the visit to Alberta Health. I was very impressed and so thankful they were able to help.

The entire staff here are absolutely lovely! They are warm, professional, precise, compassionate, and truly know their stuff inside and out. My prescription is complex, to say the least. Great selection of glasses with traditional and trendy styles. Johnny and Jenna were really friendly and helpful with choosing a new pair of glasses that suited my face. After getting a feel for what style I was looking for they pulled a few pairs and gave honest opinions on what did and didn't suit me. They were spot on with their first choice! I've had my glasses for just over a month now and I have received many compliments and I'm really happy with my purchase.
