Services
Dr. Barnett is an Orthodontist. Only dentists who have gone on to complete a full-time Orthodontic Specialty degree (in Dr. Barnett's case, a 3-year Masters degree) which focuses exclusively on orthodontics, can call themselves an Orthodontist (or, more officially, a "Registered Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics").
We look forward to meeting you and hope that the information on this website will make your first visit easier and more enjoyable. Your first appointment will consist of a comprehensive examination and diagnosis by Dr. Barnett. You'll start off with one of our Treatment Coordinators: Krista, Kiley, or Joy.
We have braces that are available in both metal and clear materials. They have metal doors that act as a solid wall to help hold the wire in place, and have smooth rounded corners to help keep the inside of your cheeks and lips comfortable. The clear brackets are often chosen by patients who want their braces to be less visible.

My oldest just got her first stage of braces. Her experience has been amazing! She gets very intimidated easily but they made her very comfortable. Love the draws they do! Also being a first time mom of a kids with braces they really know how to keep us calm in small emergencies!! Thanks to all the staff at Barnett Orthodontics!!

From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and cared for. All the staff we have dealt with have gone above and beyond to explain to my son what they are doing and ensure that he feels comfortable. He even calls it the fun place! I also appreciate that the treatment plan was clearly explained and when I had questions they we answered. Thank you to everyone for being amazing!

My daughter and I are both patients of Dr Barnett. Cochrane is truly lucky to have such an amazing orthodontist and superb staff in our town. You are greeted by warm and friendly staff who take the time to make you feel welcome and continue the small town atmosphere. Dr Barnett is is very thorough and makes you feel very at ease. His staff are amazing at tweaking the wire adjustments and always have tips and tricks keep you the most comfortable. Highly recommend!

The added touch for my son, was when he got his braces off they supplied him with a gift bag containing all the stuff he couldn't eat when he had braces. That made his entire experience amazing; it seems to me that this simple touch has made my son very motivated to keep his retainer in. Thanks again!
