We are located at 1188 Ottawa Street South, approximately halfway between Ottawa/Westmount and Ottawa/Fischer-Hallman intersections. A renovated, 1863 Mennonite farm house with a large addition is home to our eyecare practice. We have plenty of drive-up parking and wheelchair accessibility. Evening appointments are available to help accommodate our patients' busy schedules.

Services
Ashley has been an integral part of the OSO team since 2009. She is happily married to her husband Dan and is the proud mother of three kids. Ashley spends her time away from the office with her family and also volunteers with the youth group at her church. Her hobbies include reading, knitting and crocheting.
We will spend the required amount of time to accurately and thoroughly test your eyesight and investigate your eye health. All ages are welcome, from preschool to seniors. Please come equipped with sunglasses and perhaps a driver as dilating eye drops are often used. As a parent, you may wonder whether your preschooler or young child has a vision problem or when you should schedule your child's first eye exam.

Dr. Flatt is wonderful! My son loves going to get his eyes checked. Being that my son is an incredibly curious and talkative 5 year old, Dr.Flatt is ever patient with him and takes time to listen and even explains the equipment he uses and how it works
The front desk staff are extremely kind and welcoming and they dont overprice their glasses either. I'm very happy with this office and Dr. Flatt and am confident that my son is receiving the best care.

I currently have a unique vision issue for which Dr. Code (my optometrist for decades!) engaged with special interest. He's helped explore for interim solutions until this can be addressed through a prescription at a later time. I feel relaxed and he does not make me feel rushed. The office is attractive, pleasantly staffed, and well-equipped with up-to-date technology. Highly recommended!

Myself and my whole family have been going to Ottawa South Optometry, for approximately 18-19 years. My children are now adults but have attended here all their lives. My daughter is married and her husband and two children go here as well because the service is amazing. The exams are very thorough and Dr. nickel always answers all my questions. The staff is amazing with selection of glasse. I highly recommend this optometrist office!!

Just had my first visit to this clinic. Very pleased with all aspects. Staff all very friendly, beautiful clean facility, up to date equipment and Dr. Flatt gave me what I felt was a very comprehensive first exam. He took the time to thoroughly explain all the new information I needed to know and made me feel at ease with all findings. I am very comfortable bringing my family over to this practice!

My eyesight isn't terrible but I've noticed many changes with age. Dr. Flatt is always reassuring and thorough and explains all test results in a way that puts my mind at ease. I purchased eye-wear at the clinic for the first time recently. Amazing difference from the retail outlet I normally purchase from. Stylish selection, quality brands, but it's the service that makes the difference. An optician sat with me for several minutes making adjustments to the fit of my new glasses. I have been with Dr. Stephen Code for a year now and visited the Centre twice. In every way, I was treated professionally. The examination was extremely thorough and Dr. Code's manner was attentive and caring. The centre is also very comfortable and has a great selection of glasses frames to choose from. I would highly recommend Ottawa South Optometry to anyone needing eye care.
