Both of my boys loved the recreation classes when they were younger, so much fun for the kids and the coaches were amazing. Just this year, my younger son enrolled in the rec class and quickly advanced into the competitive class. The staff and especially the head coach David have been such a pleasure. Highly recommend the recreation and MAG programs at Salto.

Great variety of quality programming, many dedicated and skilled instructors, helpful staff. With children in both recreational and competitive programs here, I have seen the efforts made to support and grow these different styles of programming and offer the best possible for the children in our community.

We had one child do two years of Pre-Kindergarten here and the staff were great. This September, days before classes started for our second child, we were informed the teacher and program director (who were amazing) had quit.
They managed to get a new teacher just as classes were starting. In November we were told that this teacher had been terminated (she apparently barged into the building the next day and created quite a scene).
As if all this wasn't enough, just before Christmas break ended we were informed that another office administrator and the children's gymnastics coach were 'retiring

I have two children involved in the gym, both at the pre-competitive and recreational level and have been very pleased with the facility and its programs. Both staff and board members have the best interests of gym members at heart, and while no organization is perfect, I see consistent efforts by coaches, admin, board members, parents who value the program and athletes to demonstrate the gyms many values of balance, integrity, greatness, teamwork, openness, respect, courage and honesty.

I felt compelled to write a review after reading the owner responses to the earlier criticisms given by two earlier reviewers. I can't comment on the reason for the change in the program director and teacher at the start of the program but it does tell you something when clients are notified of two staff changes a week before the program starts.
The second instructor that was fired and Salto claimed left to pursue other opportunities was an excellent teacher to the kids and parents. I know as I attended 3 times per week to drop off and pick up my grandchild and I saw exactly how she interacted

I wish it was a positive experience... But unfortunately that was not the case. We enrolled my son into the prekindergarten class after being recommended to the facility by our pediatrician. The staff seems lovely during our walk through and they were very helpful and good with our son. Fast forward to 1 week before the program started (after the allowable cancellation date, of course) both the program director and the teacher had been terminated either fired or quit - I don't care which it was but it was kind of a bait and switch. We went for the orientation and were then put at ease because the

My daughter asks to go to Salto all the time! Preschool was such a great experience. We didn't have a bad day all year. The Teachers are so engaging and welcoming. My daughter was always greeted by name and a hug, smile or "how are you" was the norm. Excellent structure to the programs as well as the preschool. There were no surprises and as a… parent, you always knew what to expect. Communication is above average (I'm a mom of 3 daughters). It seemed that there were always reminders as well as the newsletter and great face to face communications. The Preschool orientation at the start of

Great place, and fantastic & friendly staff. My kids have done both the preschool program and drop in here and they love it. They always have so much and fun and come home beaming. The teachers and coaches adore the children, and are wonderful with them. So glad we found this preschool program, in which they also learn basic gymnastics, preparing them to continue on in a gymnastics program should they want to.

I snapped my arm in half on the trampoline here and had to have surgery on both bones in my forearm to get plates and it happened because of lack of supervision and incorrect guidance, I was told to go do a aerial on the trampoline but I asked how to do it but she said just do it, and then I broke my arm in half. An ambulance came and I had to go to the hospital. After a failed realignment, 5lbs over elbow plaster cast, surgery for plates, 4 below elbow padded casts, and a splint, it finally healed (in all 3 months) and left scars. HATE IT HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I had so many x-rays, I'm probably

My oldest son has been taking classes here for the past 2 years and it has been an great experience for him. The staff are fantastic and are wonderful with children. The class structure is easy for kids to understand and really helps them build confidence and motor skills.
I can't say enough for this program. It's so beneficial for young kids and the enjoyment you see from the staff and the kids is proof enough that this place rocks.
Just some notes for new parents who enrol their kids:
1. If you are going to watch your child, be courteous to pregnant women and give up your chair
