Services
Since 2008, Firas, Susan, and their three young children have called Ottawa their home. Their practice, the Terry Fox Dental Centre, is designed as a family-centered clinic, where every effort has been made to combine the latest in dental care technologies with the soothing comforts of home. The practice is also regularly used as a venue for supporting community initiatives.
Payment is due when services are rendered. We accept cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard. Our staff will be happy to assist you with your dental insurance by electronically submitting claims to your insurance company on your behalf, or we will help you fill out the necessary paperwork if your insurance company does not accept electronic claims.

Terry Fox Dental can improve your oral health and your smile by repairing or replacing your natural teeth with amalgam-free materials. Amalgam-free options are available for many dental procedures, including fillings and crowns.

I am so grateful to be a patient of Dr. Daftary aka "Dr.D". She is so incredibly talented. I've also seen Dr. Khalili for an emergency visit and he was amazing! I've always been so frightened to go to the dentist. That is no longer the case...I look forward to it now!!! Dr. Daftary's dentistry is outstanding and painless. Liz did a super job with my teeth cleaning and I can't say enough about Stephanie and the rest of the Terry Fox Dental Centre staff. They are terrific. As I mentioned, I'm very grateful to be a patient here!

Dr. Daftary and Dr. Khalili are both great dentists. They are very knowledgeable and compassionate. I have a filling, crown, root canal emergency extraction done on different teeth. They were done professionally and I would highly recommend them. The office staff is friendly and welcoming and the x-ray techs/dental assistants and hygienists are thorough and gentle!

So here's a million dollar question...who actually looks forward going to the dentist? Not a whole lot of people, but I always do! It's all because of Dr. K, Dr. D, the team of hygienists and the office staff. Everyone is always so kind, and so gentle (when it comes to the cleaning). When Dr. K comes to see you, it's like catching up with a friend you haven't seen in forever. Always so genuine and fun! I've been a patient for several years here and have never had better treatment - I'd recommend this team and great group of people anytime. Keep up the amazing work, everyone!

I couldn't recommend Terry Fox Dental more! I've been coming here for quite some time now and have nothing but amazing things to say about everyone here. Dr. Al Khalili is always all smiles and makes you feel so at home. The team of receptionists, hygienists, and dentists work together to deliver some of the best service I've had the pleasure of receiving, hands down.

I never thought I'd give a dental office a five star review but the whole experience was so professional and very caring. Talking to Dr. Khalili is honestly like talking to a good friend. I had somewhat of a complicated procedure but he took the time to explain things to me in a way that I could really understand, and made me feel that he had my best interest at heart. The service was amazing, as was the follow-up. Thank you again.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Khalili for nearly 10 years. I'm typically nervous when it comes to getting work done on my teeth; however, Dr. K always makes me feel at ease with his jokes. His staff are very friendly and accommodating when it comes to scheduling an appointment. I highly recommend choosing Terry Fox Dental Centre!

Dr. K has been amazing! I hadn’t been to a dentist in many years as I didn’t have coverage nor money to pay for any dental services. I was pretty embarrassed going in after many years but Dr. K and his staff were extremely welcoming and didn’t make me feel bad at all. They made a treatment plan and we’ve been working on it for a while. Now I’m getting married next year and Dr. K has just recently fixed my smile!!! We did four crowns on my front teeth and I couldn’t be happier. The process wasn’t painless nor easy but he did his best to keep me at ease and the final product is outstanding

Recently I went on a hunt to look for a good dentist in Ottawa and I happen to luck out since its close to my work and the best one I've ever had (out of 4).
I am of course speaking off Susan Daftary and her amazing staff, at the Terry Fox Dental Centre. I was having sharp pain in one of my tooth so I walked into the clinic and I got an examination the same day. Two days later Dr Daftary was playing tug o' war with my wisdom tooth and well the tooth lost.
Dr Daftary is very polite and takes her time to explain everything to the patient. As far as skill goes, she is absolutely amazing
