In 2006 I have obtained a diploma in dental assisting and have worked in the dental field since. I have worked in a few dental offices and gained experience in all aspects of running a dental practice apart from directly assisting the doctors. I have learned about reception, sterilization, dental software, financial transactions and most importantly to make our patient's well being my first priority.
Dr. George Atanasiu grew up in Romania, and immigrated to Canada in 1987. After finishing high school in Toronto, he went back to Romania where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following this, he returned to Canada and earned his DDS degree at University of Western Ontario in London in 2006.

Going to the dentist is never something that most people want to do. But the staff made it very easy (even with Covid restrictions) to seamlessly get checked in and on your way. Emma was who I emailed back and forth to book appointments. She was always prompt with her responses and made it clear my care was a priority. The dental assistant Katie did an amazing job getting all my X-rays and scans up to date. She walked me through the whole process explaining what she was doing and why. Dr. George was friendly and pleasant. He seemed very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had about my teeth

This was my first visit to Lotus Dental. I was greeted by Laura and Emma at reception and they took care of my concerns and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. Drew my hygienist was informative and put me at ease during my cleaning. I look forward to returning in the future.

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Every visit is like visiting friends. Dr. George is the best, and the newest hygienist Drew is worth 10 stars! I’m not the easiest patient, but they always pull me through, with kindness and compassion.

Everyone at Lotus Dental is amazing, from the minute you walk through the door! I was hesitant to go because of very traumatic experiences at the dentist...and I've tried many. After moving to the area I started searching for a new dentist. Seems there are dentists on every corner these days but after doing my research, I found Lotus Dental Clinic and I’m very pleased I did!
The staff are amazing and the office has a zen feel with massage chairs, cozy rooms and up to date technology; I even watched Netflix while having my cleaning done with Ali… who by the way is a sweetheart! From my first conversation with Emma, meeting the staff and having my cleaning done with Ali, I felt very comfortable, cared for and in good hands.

I had a root canal today, and I was expecting a painful time but I was extremely impressed by Dr.George and dental assistant. They made the procedure so smooth and I didn't even notice how fast it was without any pain at all throughout the procedure. I highly recommend this place for everyone to have a smooth session in the future.

I’ve been seeing Dr. George and his team for years now and couldn’t be happier. They did a fantastic job replacing my crowns and took the time to get the colour and shape just right. It’s easy to book a cleaning apt. and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I originally found this dentist through a recommendation and would definitely recommend to others!

My name is Elizabeth, I am 19 years old, and have never been a fan of the dentist. Years of anxiety and, being afraid of going to the dentist, made my dental situation very complex.
