Always have a great experience here. They have probably one largest collections of eye frames and sun glasses to choose from. PS, I drive over an hour just to shop here.

Got my very first pair of glasses.
Great selection, on the $$$ side but has great discounts at the moment so got my glasses for 40% off.
Quite a bit of back and forth via email since its my first pair and I had a lot of questions - always responded in a timely manner.

They gave me off-centered glasses and were unable to adjust the nose pieces to make it fit... I have low nose bridge. A lady there measured my eye distance with a machine that is suitable for normal nose. As a result, when the glasses came in, the glasses sat a lot lower on my nose then it is supposed to be, and the centre of the eyes are off. What surprised me is that she didnt even know how to adjust the nose piece properly to make it higher!! After multiple adjustments, it just didn't work well. She would say it looked great even though clearly it looks very uncomfortable. For one try, it even

Unfortunately, I went to this place. Luckily my insurance paid $250 for useless reading glasses they prepared. But now I’m taking them to a professional optician to remove the lens and replace, which I pay for. Please avoid this awful and unprofessional business. They’ll be out of business soon..... Be careful.

Great turnkey service. Picked glasses and had my eyes tested. We shopped around downtown with my wife and kids and came back to pick up my glasses a few hours later. Smooth and efficient process.

I had the worst experience getting my prescription glasses done here. They made my glasses in the wrong prescription and after 3 weeks on constant headaches, I checked with my own ophthalmologist and she told me that the glasses they gave me in not matching the prescription at all!

After I went back to Lotus eyewear to get them fixed, they told me they would only cover the cost for 1 eye to be fixed because the other one was within tolerance! So they think if your glasses are close enough to your prescription it's ok. After I agree to pay for the other eye, I come back in for a 3rd time

I made a phone call and then quick drop in visit to this store. I wanted to donate 3 pairs of old glasses towards charity. They were pleasant on the phone and in store and were happy to take them, even though they weren't purchased from them. The store was bright and open and they had 2 associates available for customer service. I would consider for my next pair of glasses. Also accessible location right on Robson street downtown.

Spent $888 on progressives and frames. Asked for new frames not the demo ones inshore, they said no problem. When they came in the demo was no longer in store. Suspiciously they said they were sent back to the manufacturer. Ya right.
They are unwilling or unable to properly fit progressive lenses.
They did remake the lenses but cut one lens higher then the other. Blamed me for the issues. Nest pair came back with the same issue but without the coatings I asked for. And said they would no longer help me fit them properly. Will not offer any refund.

I purchased two sets of glasses this morning from one of the store's owners. It was a very positive experience. Knowledgable, pleasant, not pushy at all. Range of choices of frames was also excellent. Eye exam equipment is also state of the art. Highly recommended.

I have bought three pairs of eyeglasses from Lotus and have always had good service, very high quality products (frames are not plastic but layered acetate). It is a family business with Mom & Dad plus 2 sons. I do not know them personally but I can tell you that I have the best quality eyeglass lens of any of my friends. The proof is that I see like a teenager again and Shafia (is an Optometrist) did my vision tests and they were all included free. These people are very helpful but not pushy and perhaps on Robson that seems unusual after the mandatory greeters in other retailers. My advice

A well deserved 1 star. I bought a $350 dollar pair of Prada sunglasses for a trip to Mexico. On my trip I noticed that the side of the frame had a film material of some sort that was peeling. When I got back (just over 2 weeks later) I brought them to the store owner looking for a solution, she started saying that it's not her problem as it has been pass there 2 week (2 WEEK RETURN POLICY!!!). After arguing with her for 10-15 minutes, she said she can send them to Prada. Prada also abandoned the defective sunglasses. I tend to buy my sunglasses from these 50% Robson stores to "save money

Wish I saw the reviews before I made the mistake of going here. Probably the worst service I've ever experienced. I didn't want to do the online review but seeing that my emails were ignored I will. I went here wanting to support a small store on Robson that isn't Sunglass Hut. Not sure why I did. Their return policy is non-existent (all sales are final). If all sales are final, you should notify your customers - this is common practice at a lot of stores and a hallmark of good customer service. You should also try to make the customer happy by trying to help them find an alternative

I'm really surprised to see the reviews for this shop. I get that they are saying it's pricier than Holt Renfrew and other big department/store chains. I was looking for a great pair of sunnies a week ago or so and I happen to have stumbled upon Lotus Eyewear Optical Shop, at first I was hesitant to go in but i noticed (just like any other stores in downtown), they have a discount offering Buy 1 Pair Get 1 Free Pair. Sounds like a good deal. So went in and checked, and found the pair i'd like to purchase for someone. I didn't buy it that day as I wanted to check other stores

Avoid this place at all costs. This business is completely ripping people off. I was interested in a pair of their Prada prescription sunglasses that I had also previously tried on at Holt Renfrew. They wanted $600 meanwhile Holt Renfrew was selling them for $355. Not only did they want $600, but making the lenses prescription was an extra $100. I called the lady working there (who seemed to be one of the owners as her husband was working there as well) out on their price discrepancy and she had the audacity to tell me that there was a difference in price because Holt Renfrew's sunglasses

One of the rare shopping experiences where they didn't listen to the customer. Repeated a few times what I wanted but seemed to steer towards something else.

They do carry their house brand of lenses, $100 cheaper than Nikon 1.74.

The usual brands like Boss, Armani and Oga, decent selection, not as much as Lenscrafter or Clearly.

Nice Persian lady though.

This place is so sketchy!! I worked here for one day and high-tailed it out of there! I should have declined the job offer after the interview but I decided to give them a shot. There is no formal training program, and the owners were impatient and the man was even rude to me because I did not know everything on my first day. Pardon me, it IS my first day you know. Though I studied sciences and have a good knowledge of physics, light rays, optics etc., none of this was recognized.

Their poor attitude also reflects in the way they treat their customers. Jumping on customers as soon as they walk

I will never recommend this store and their services, if I could give them a zero on this review, I would!
The eyeglasses not adjusted properly and very expensive comparing with other eyeglass stores and services
This is the worst store, optometrist and customer service I have ever encountered.
Just shop elsewhere and walked out, never to return.

I have been shopping around for a pair of glasses for a couple weeks now, and this place stood out from the rest. I was looking for a pair of progressive glasses and the selection here is huge, sometimes a bit too much but in the end I found something i liked. They also had a buy one get one free sale which was nice. The optician that was there was very helpful because i have a higher prescription and she recommended thinner lenses since i was getting frameless glasses.

Overall I was very pleased with their service and i will recommend them to friends.

2 weeks ago myself and my fiance purchased a pair of glasses at this store. We were informed that the glasses would be available on the coming Tuesday or early Wednesday. They were not.

The glasses were late and when we were called into pick them up we quickly found that the frame they were trying to give us was badly warped. The saleswoman tried to claim otherwise and prooceeded to maked 20 or 30 adjustments, none of which altered the fact that the frames themselves were faulty. Eventually they agreed to give us another pair with new frames.

Another week (without glasses) passes by.

Eventually

The Last place on earth you want to be, even if you end up blind. This is the first time I am posting a bad review in my life and I have been around for 3 decades, so go figure!

My girlfriend went to this place to buy her prescription glasses on "Boxing Day" Since she was alone she ended up picking a frame , that didn't really suit her . By the time the glasses were ready the next day, she decided she didn't like them. Right then she said she didn't like the glasses, but the owner basically forced us to take them. The day after we decided to go back because we really
