Valerie was born and raised in Montreal. There her parents owned women's clothing factory, where Valerie learned about business, designing, fashion, and making her own clothes, at the young age of 10 yrs old. Valerie truly loves eyewear and individuality and truly enjoys helping people find their perfect pair of glasses.

I absolutely love the eyeglass frames that Michelle helped me to find - I would say that a day never goes by where someone doesn't compliment me on them! In these 18 months of wearing a face mask, I've been especially grateful to have these stand out frames. I have worn glasses for many years, liked some pairs more than others, but Niche Eyewear has given me THE best look, style and comfort of all. They are transition lenses and turn a deep sapphire blue on a sunny day, and look even cooler, if that's possible. Thank you Michelle, for your personalized service and patience with my indecision.

I just got a pair of glasses at Niche and had a really great experience. Valerie is really knowledgeable and she has a great selection of small frames for smaller adult faces, which is usually really hard to find. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for good quality frames. Great service, too!

If I could give ten stars I would! The most wonderful eyewear boutique in Kits with high quality frames and excellent advice. Valerie will make choosing your new pair of glasses such a treat and will guide you towards the best fit and style like no other. The owner, Valerie, is a true gem. Not only was she incredibly kind and helpful, but she really knows her stuff! I called ahead to see if they had what I needed and by the time I got there she had set aside a number of options for me to try on. We had a whole little fashion show, and I left with two pairs of beautiful quality glasses. Highly recommend!

The minute I walked in the door, I knew I would be buying my glasses at Niche. Not only do they have interesting designs and quality frames, but the service is exceptional. Valerie's experience in the eyewear industry is evident from the minute she helps you find the first pair to try on. She is knowledgeable, patient and honest. I felt that she wouldn't let me walk out the door with a pair of glasses that wasn't suited for me. The progressive lenses were made perfectly and took no time to get used to them.
