Services
Our teaching staff complete a comprehensive Pilates teacher education program with Dianne Miller, who is a leading figure in the continuing evolution of the Pilates method, and is known internationally as a 'teacher of teachers'. The VPC teaching team is invested in continuing education through the Franklin Method and Ron Fletcher work.
Our virtual classes are available for online booking until 1-hour prior to the class start time. Please note: We reserve the right to cancel any class with less than 3 registered attendees 24-hours prior to the class start time (you will be notified by email if a class is cancelled). Sign up early to avoid disappointment!
We are available for virtual private sessions to teach you exercises you can do at home or add to a home program you may already have. We are offering 45-minute virtual private sessions via Zoom. Class Cancellation Policy: We reserve the right to cancel any class with less than 3 registered attendees 24-hours prior to the class start time.
This appointment allows us to review your physical history and wellness goals with you and introduce you to a a variety of Pilates exercises. We will then recommend our best program options for you! We offer a variety of Pilates programs whether you are looking for a personal equipment program or small group mat classes.
We are leaders in rehabilitative exercise, designing personal programs for both studio and home practice. Our Pilates-based programs provide a progressive approach to functional and healthy movement habits. Our Welcome Package for rehabilitative exercise is an introductory series of 8 55-minute private sessions, specifically for those with injuries or other health conditions.

2 years later and I'm still going strong (maybe even stronger) at the studio. The "pivot" that's been made to keep clients and staff working through Covid is well thought through with a super focus on safety. Sincere thanks to Mairin and the team from me and my body.

After decades of back pain and slouching that I assumed would always be a fact of life, I finally decided to do something about it. Within a few months of working out at the Vancouver Pilates Centre, I feel taller, stronger and way more aware of my body. I used to throw my back or knees out every year lifting or skiing, but now that I have better musculature and awareness of how to lift, turn, walk, ski, bike, and sit, Pilates informs pretty well every motion I do now. As founder Dianne Miller said, "Pilates isn't for you to do the perfect pirouette, it's so you can close the car door with your foot while holding your kid and a bag of groceries!"

Pilates is really for everyone! I thought I knew everything about my body, but coming here has taught me that there is always more to learn. The attention the teachers give each client is incredible! I sit at a desk all day and Pilates has improved my posture, strength and alignment. The ELDOA classes are magical, my body has been transformed by the knowledge the teachers provide me every visit. Have been attending Vancouver Pilates Centre for several years. As a result my body is stronger and more flexible. My posture is way better than it has ever been and despite a diagnosis of Osteoporosis, I think… I may even be getting taller. :) The inevitable aches and pains that come with age are quickly addressed before they become chronic issues.
I don't just benefit from the exercises that are part of my individualized program but also from the constant helpful feedback, the body awareness, the suggestions of how to carry the benefits into my everyday life.
