The doctors here are very knowledgeable but the reception staff are atrocious. Asking patients “what’s your reason for needing to see the doctor today?” in front of a waiting room full of strangers is really awkward and for some people may be embarrassing to answer

WARNING to anyone who goes to Brentwood Medical Clinic:
I recently had a swab test done here last week, and after receiving my result yesterday it indicated the following note for the clinic: “Expired swab used. Please order new swabs using the Lifelabs Supply Requisition.”
I followed up with Lifelabs to get clarification and they said that this means the clinic used a swab from a bad/expired batch, and that it may or may not have compromised the result of my test but that it also depends on just how outdated the swabs they’re using are (i.e., 2 weeks VS 2 years sort of thing), which I

This clinic is so unprofessional. It says it opens at 8am yet the receptionist rolled in with a coffee at 8:10am. Then the doctor didn’t show up until 8:45 to actually TREAT patients. I waited for over and hour for mediocre treatment and this place is absolute garbage, never book here. The receptionist was also rude asking people why they are visiting in front of the entire waiting room.

Don't come here. Save your time/money. I would give zero stars if I could. I went there and because I had a slight cough, the doctor would only have a phone convo with me. Fair enough, I guess during these Covid times... They said she would call me at home an hour later. 3 hours later, no call. So I call them, but the doctor had already gone home... What?! I get scheduled for the next day, but on that 2-minute call, she referred me to an Urgent Care clinic where a doctor can actually meet me personally. Privately paid $125 to be given the run-around and wasted 2 days...

Reception staff is a huge barrier to see doctor during walk-in hours - seems to look for reasons to disqualify you even without COVID/flu/cold/respiratory symptoms - Didn't care that it was a follow up visit for an ongoing issue with previously appts with Dr. Ali.
If you can get past reception Dr. Ali G was great.

Horrible clinic. The doctor I had was incompetent and/or disengaged. The whole staff just radiate an unmistakable aura of not giving a s***. Volume of patients seems to be the only concern, while quality of care gets thrown out the window. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The receptionist / nurse was really nice, efficient, fast but not in a careless fashion. I was able to see a doctor within about 30 minutes. I had a generally good experience, which does not happen often at a walk-in clinic.

Had to book three calls to finally get called back on the third day, their advice, call the doctor you don't see anymore and keep going to them. This was advised even after explaining that I have moved away from them, which would include a three hour round-trip. Useless.

Ive been here for my allergy shots because this is the only clinic near by my house that does injections and I always have appointments. Every time I come in before my appointment they let me go into a room and so i wait for 45mins to an hour or more all the time.

This place is definitely doing the best they can at a time that is difficult for us all. Dr Ho was so helpful for me and knowledgeable and didn’t over diagnose me in any way. The receptionist is kind although I know her job must be stressful. She is efficient and does what needs to be done.
