Cycling Elements
Here you will find a passionate group of riders who believe the bicycle much more than a machine: it's a vehicle to transform your life, charge your soul and chase freedom. Because of this deep underlying passion, we are part of the larger Orangeville Cycling Community and are committed to providing you the best advice, service and experience as you embrace the reason you ride.

Cycling Elements is rooted in the local community because we understand the symbiotic relationship between the riding community, trails, events and us as the local bike shop. That's why we support the community by: building trails, developing active transportation, supporting grass roots cycling events, and giving to riding clubs and charities alike.
Services
This is it, this group of people is what makes Cycling Elements. We are all real people with our own preferences and tastes that contribute to the energy of the shop, brought together by our love of the bicycle. Officially opened in 2012, Cycling Elements was conceived many years before as Jeff finished school and dreamed to get back to the best summer job he ever had, working in the local bike shop back in Bracebridge.
Flat tires happen, it's no big deal. We include the correct sized tube and guarantee that we will solve the reason it went flat in the first place. All bicycle systems are inspected while the bike is cleaned and adjusted. Including: shifting, brakes, bearings, minor wheel truing, and a full nut and bolt sweep.
The main reason we are all here, but why so many choices? As a general rule look at the tires; a wider tire is better for off-road uses where traction and bump absorption are required, while a narrower tire is better on hard pack surfaces and pavement because it will roll faster. Also look for the riding position, an upright position is comfortable and relaxing, but the wind hitting your upright body will slow you down.
A wide tired bicycle often with suspension designed to handle off-road, twisty, bumpy and muddy trails. Look for the wide knobby tires, disc brakes, and flat wide handlebar. The rider sits in a fairly upright position with good visibility and control. The Rockhopper is also a great recreational mountain bike for basic trails and around town.
A broad category of bicycles ranging from relaxed cruisers for riding around town to thin tired road bikes with flat mountain bike style handlebars. Hybrids offer a great package if you want to split your time between two styles of riding, like training for a recreational triathlon and riding at the park with the family.

I seldom write reviews, but this is one time I must!
They don’t bend over backwards, nope, they do back flips for their customers!! Jeff and his Team are truly professionals, love what they do and it’s contagious. I woukd never consider dealing with another bike shop….and we don’t even live in Oville!! Thanks

Amazing experience, broken leaver on the last day of BT 700. They replaced my lever, filled my bottles and got me back on the trails within an hour. Thanks Geoff!

Cycling Elements is a true reflection of what the sport of mountain biking is supposed to be about. They treat everyone that walks in the door like they’re family and take time to ensure your bike is tuned properly and make the effort to share exactly what they did and why they did it. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in building, tuning and riding bikes.
I’ll continue to tune my bikes and purchase new bikes through Cycling Elements.
Sincerely,
A very happy customer

It's hard to even give a big enough shout out to the guys at Cycling Elements! They helped me through a complete bike overhaul, always willing to share tips and tricks and getting me all the parts I needed fast and at a great price. All the staff treated me like they actually cared about me and my needs and would go the extra mile to make sure I made the right decisions. Its so great to see there are still some business / employees that are top notch and put customer service first not just writing it on a wall somewhere. THANKS GUYS!

Awesome job during these tough times Cycling Elements!!! Earlier this week I had to drop off a part for the team to continue repairing my bike. It was 21:10 when I pushed the part into the drop box. Jeff and Phil were still working !!!! I just want to let the whole Cycling elements team know their sacrifices and hard effort is really appreciated by the Orangeville biking community. Hopefully when lockdown is over, you will all get the time to enjoy the trails as much we have been (thanks to you). “Go Cycling Elements”

Great shop with friendly and helpful staff. Helped me fix a simple issue on my bike that another bike shop said I'd need many parts for. They tuned it around quick and kept me posted on the repairs progress.
