We offer a wide variety of rental cottages of many different sizes to comfortably accommodate you and your family during your stay. Julie and Kurtis are a young couple that own and oversee the operation at Blue Pigeon Resort. They purchased the property in 2014 in the hopes that it will grow and become a family legacy in the future.
What was once known as Sugar Bush Cottages was rebranded as Blue Pigeon Resort with a new vision in mind and a goal of what the future will bring for them and their family. Opening its doors to the public for the first time in 2015; Julie and Kurtis understood the challenges of a new business but have managed to grow the Resort into a place where families and friends come to gather year after year.

Services
Arrangements may be made for earlier upon availability, however, we ask that all boats are back and docked by 7 p.m. We recommend that you book as soon as possible as we have limited number of vessels available and we cannot guarantee availability otherwise. The rental rate is for the Boat Rental only; renter is responsible for Gas usage as well as a security deposit as a pre-authorized hold on their credit card.
We are open from Victoria Day Long weekend to the Thanksgiving Weekend; however, there is always someone available to answer your questions via phone or email - high or low season. Guests will be able to check-in after 4:00 PM and 8 PM on the arrival date at the Main Office; please make arrangements prior to date of arrival if you will be arriving after 8 PM.

Had a lovely time at Blue Pigeon Resort in September. We rented three cottages for a family reunion and it was the perfect spot to enjoy nature and catch up with family. Beautiful views of Pigeon Lake, lots of space in the cottages. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay again, thank you!

Blue Pigeon Resorts is truly one of those hidden gems. My family and I spent a weekend there and didn’t want to leave. Ever! Owners Julie and Kurtis have added such a homey feel to this beautiful resort. They are always available to say ‘Good morning’ or to assist with your needs. We were very impressed with the Sparrow cottage. It was clean, bright and updated with lots of space. And they are building more!! This is definitely a must see for your next getaway!

Already reserved to come back next year! Best cottage resort in the Bobcaygeon area. We were staying for the get away with family and friends recently in September 2021. This resort has over dozen cottages with 6 or 7 cottages that just built brand new this year. The property is well laid out and maintained, lots of open space with a pretty view of the big lake. The cottages are spacious, comfortable and really clean. They are well equipped with the basics and come with private area for campfires at night. The management team (Julie and Curtis) and staff are very friendly, accommodating guests

Great place to be on pigeon lake. Hosts Julie and Curtis are great always welcoming and helpful. All the cottages are updated and clean. Simple but modern for our wives. Been to many places around town and this is now our new go to place. Wouldn’t recommend anybody else on Pigeon Lake. They also offer boat rentals for convenience. Have booked already for the next two years !

My girlfriends and I recently spent the weekend at Blue Pigeon Resort and it did not disappoint! Julie is an excellent host and made sure we equipped with everything we needed. We stayed at one of the newly renovated units, Sandpiper, and it was perfect for the 4 of us. The unit was very clean and had everything from an AC unit, to gas stove, TV & entertainment. We spent most of our time in the heated salt water pool or hanging out by the docks. There are boats and Seadoos that you can rent to go on the lake as well. Overall, everyone on the property was very friendly and everything was clean and

Our first trip to blue pigeon resort. The accommodations were clean & modern & stocked with what we needed. The resort was quiet & owners were lovely. Our kids enjoyed fishing off the dock every night. The pool was great. We just wish there was a small beach for kids & some more activities for the kids like a recreational hall & store to get treats 😁 ( but we heard thats coming soon)

Our family spent the week at Blue Pigeon. Our cottage was spotless. and comfortable. Julie, Mary & the staff were very hospitable and attentive to our needs. My grand kids , age 5 & 2 , enjoyed the fishing , kayaking & swimming in the pool. It was a perfect family vacation at a quaint & beautiful resort .It exceed our expectation . We cant wait to come back next year

My family and I visited Blue Pigeon Resort last week for a Monday-Friday stay. My kids' only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. We really had such a fabulous time.
Our cottage was immaculate when we arrived, as were the grounds of the resort. There was so much to do, between the lake, the swimming pool, and the two playgrounds on site. We rented a double kayak and had a lovely time exploring beautiful Pigeon Lake. The lake was weedier than we expected so not the best for swimming but the pool gave my kids all the swimming time they needed.

Great place to stay, beautiful scenic spot on pigeon lake. We have been attending with a large family group since the first year this resort opened. The owners have done a great job with the cottages. All are clean and spacious, and this past year several brand new beautiful spacious and modern cottages were added.
The pool is great for the kids.
The owners would like to have a beach area ready soon which would be great for the little kids and would earn this resort a five star rating!

This was our first time here. We had a great time. Owners were very accommodating with all our needs. Great family resort. The children loved it and made good friends and great memories. Would highly recommend this resort. Beautiful lake, the swimming pool was an added bonus. Cottage was very clean when we arrived.
