Cartwright Jewelers has been family owned and operated since 1933. James Daniel Cartwright started the business as a watchmaker and jeweller in downtown New Westminster on Clarkson Street. Don Cartwright followed in his father's footsteps in 1965 and took over the business in 1980. Susan in turn joined her father in business in 1984 and has since taken over the family business as Don enjoys his retirement.
Over the years, Cartwright's have enjoyed several locations in New Westminster but have always called uptown their home. They are presently located at 639 Sixth Street. This year the Cartwright family is delighted to announce their anniversary of 85 successful years in business.

I can't recommend Cartwright's highly enough! David and his team have been so helpful over the past couple of months. We ordered our wedding bands at the store and because my fingers are small/we were unsure as to whether the band would match the engagement ring - David made to sure to order two samples before we decided on the final band. To me - this is above and beyond anything I expected. Each time we visit they also clean my engagement ring which is such a nice touch. Their customer service is fantastic and they make you feel like you're their most important customer! If you need any adjustments

Amazing customer service! They honestly care so much here about their clients. Nina is very sweet and helpful! She helped sort out my engagement ring resizing, which required dealing with another company. We will definitely be coming back here for wedding bands because the service was phenomenal. I just purchased an engagement ring from Cartwright Jewelers. When talking with Susan, I knew very little about rings and had even fewer ideas/visions. After spending a short amount of time with her, I was well informed and she made this experience absolutely flawless.
