As a new puppy owner, I had a lot of questions and definitely some fears around being a good puppy mom, that Dr. Bouchard answered very patiently. When we brought our pup to the clinic, she took such good care of him and by the end of it he loved her and couldn't stop wagging his tail! When we saw some concerns post vaccinations on puppy lethargy, Dr Bouchard was very helpful in addressing them and asked for us to continuously follow-up to provide updates which made me feel like I have a great resource and caretaker (who actually truly cared about my pup and his wellbeing). I think Dr. Bouchard is excellent in every way - caring, reliable, trustworthy, and professional. She goes above and beyond, calling me back asap to discuss my concerns and asking thoughtful, considers questions before recommending treatment. Dr. Bouchard and her staff are dedicated, honest and compassionate. They always treat their patients with love and kindness. I have been taking my dogs to her for over 10 years and have always received service that is above and beyond my expectations. Dr Bouchard is professional and knowledgeable. We brought in our very sick hamster. She did a thorough check up and did not try to push any unnessary procedures/tests/medicine. She was very gentle with our tiny furry friend and we felt at ease with Humphrey in her care. She patiently answered all the questions my children and I had. Unfortunately, Humphrey passed a day later but we were prepared for that after the visit with Dr. Bouchard. I have had 3 cats that have seen Dr Bouchard. She is amazing. I’ve lived in different areas of GTA and gone to many different veterinarians in over 25 years. Dr. Bouchard is by far the best vet I’ve ever gone… to. Her love for our four legged friends is amazing. They are not just “customers” to her. She treats them as her own. Dr. Bouchard clearly and thoroughly went through the procedures and options I had for my miniature dachshund, Snoopy's, ear surgery with no unexpected costs or issues that were not detailed from the very beginning of our visit. Dr. Bouchard is amazing. I was referred to Summeridge in 2013, for my previous, precious Golden Retriever, Mollie. I was so touched by the kindness extended to Mollie and to me at the end of her life. Dr.… Bouchard was concerned about Mollie's quality of life to the end. About a month ago, our 13.5 year old Jack Russell Terrier suddenly and mysteriously fell ill. I have dealt with veterinarian clinics before, for cats, mind you. Summeridge is a caring, welcoming clinic who welcomes my dog in a very personal way. How many dogs love going to the vet's? Mine does. The appointments seldom overlap so you don't have to contain your pet with a bunch of others, waiting. Dr Helene Bouchard obviously loves animals… and my dog loves her. Dr. Bouchard has been my vet for over 8 years. I have had a family vet my whole life. However, never have I met a more honest, patient and compassionate vet who truly cares about the animals.
My visits are always professional, comprehensive and I leave feeling that my cats are in the best hands!
There are not many vets that will call you after hours, even on holidays because they are simply concerned about your pet. Dr. Bouchard's regard for the animals in her care extends beyond most.
