Village Food Markets is a full service supermarket located in the Sooke Centre Mall on southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Open 7 days a week from 7am to 9pm, our grocery store offers a deli and butcher shop, in-house bakery, fresh produce with an expanded organic produce section, large assortment of local and import grocery items, and fresh cut flowers.

Services
Our fresh and delicious bakery, deli or veggie platters, usually made to order for parties and gatherings, are currently suspended unless you are ordering for your own family/household use. Perfect finger food for a crowd of sport enthusiasts! Bite sized portions of cheddar and monterey cheeses arranged with garlic sausage, pepperoni sticks, olives, pickles and honey mustard dipping sauce.
We're proud to offer the full range of high quality Dairyland products and help our schools overcome funding shortages for activities and programs. Milk Money is a great fundraiser for our community. Download and print this Milk Money form - with bonus dairy coupons - and bring it to our Customer Service desk in store.
We offer up to $2000 to Grade 12 Students who presently work or have worked at Village Food Markets or who are the children or grandchildren of present employees. The short story should relate in some way to the applicant's experience with Village Food Markets. It may be a humourous or interesting work story or how the grocery store affected your life or the life of someone you know in a positive way.
We are using the additional closing hours for deep cleaning for everyone's health and safety and replenishing our shelves for your needs. We continue to adjust our policies in line with the recommendations of the Federal and BC Governments to protect our staff and customers to the best of our ability.

Where do I begin..
This store is not only overpriced (doesn't compare at all to the prices of other stores), but some of the staff are unapproachable & downright rude. I also had some produce with mold & worms on it!!? I spoke with the manager regarding my concerns, but was basically blown off - he began babbling about how he had an appointment to get to.. and cut me off. What happened to "the customer is always right" mentality..? As a manager, he should be able to handle questions & concerns in a tactful & professional manner, but he was lacking in that department. I will not be back there to
