While waiting outside if the store I heard male staff talking about that morning finding expired ingredients saying "from November and it should have been flushed down the toilet". When I entered the store one of the female staff was so rude to me that I left. I will not be returning and suggest you do not either.

PRETTY GOOD. Some set backs as stated below
Ordered:
Mushroom quiche: good balance between mushroom and cheese. Easy to eat. Good crust.
Apple danish and sour cherry danish: good crust. Probably better warm. Nice sweet taste, not overly sweet
-wished the apple one had more fruit
Cruffin: too much chocolate frosting, hard crust, better warmed.

Amazing food and friendly staff. We were originally planning to go somewhere else, but the bistro looked so inviting that we gave it a try. The food (I had the lampuki pie) was absolutely delicious and serving sizes were huge. Our waiter was exceptionally nice and helpful, and service was very fast.
It was a little bit loud on the terrace (which of course isn't the restaurant's fault), so I'd recommend dining inside for a more relaxed experience.

Tried different breakfast this week here. Really delicious. My fav is the full English breakfast. Atmosphere is also great with nice sunshine. I would rate this restaurant 4.5 star. I would deduct only 0.5 star for their frequent ordering mistakes. It seems they need to have a better ordering system. Anyway, great food, friendly stuff, worth to go

Very bad food and highly expensive. First of all, the salad was empty, just lettuce drowned in mayonnaise. If I wanted mayonnaise it should have been available on the side as a salad full of mayo is just not a salad anymore. Apart from that there were only few pieces of chicken which were very small, making it highly expensive for 13 euro. The burger was small and surely not worth 16 euro. Highly unsatisfied.

We did see the prices before entering but we did not see the portion size until we had it on the table. From your tone of response you are looking like you

Really amazing food, i would actually give it a 4½ out of 5 stars but the service was a little slow due to there being only 2 wait staff. They were very friendly and I cant find a single fault with my food..would deffo return and highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable too..my order only came to €13 (£11.44). Very happy and full :)

Incredible brunch. Staff was kind and super efficient as well as patient. It was so tasty and the place was very nice. I can only recommend, from the drinks (I forgot the name but I really liked the pineapple mojito) to the salty food (I tried the avocado pancakes) and the sweet food (brioche perdue was amazing !) everything was perfect. You can't go wrong with this restaurant. Don't forget to make a reservation though, they were full when I was there. It was my favorite breakfast place in Malta.
PS: plus if you're too full you can order takeaway, I took my brioche back home and it was still so

Definitely worth a try. We really enjoyed our food here and the setting.
Only criticism is the fact they only have 2 guys serving all the tables and our drinks took quite a bit longer than they should have done to arrive. Saying that the staff are really nice and friendly.
Definitely try the burrata if that’s your thing. It was amazing and will definitely try to get back here before we leave Malta!

Always a lineup outside of Crust Bakery, we came here early on a holiday Monday and waited for about 15 minutes. You can also look in their display case while you're waiting to decide what you want. They have so many choices that you just want to to try everything! I thoroughly enjoyed their pistachio tart and their lychee raspberry pastry. I found their sausage roll a bit dry and wished when they heated it up, it was warm to the core. However so many things still left to try that we will definitely be back!

I'm glad I'm not the only one in the reviews who noticed that most of the pastry was sort of one note or bland. Like others, I also noticed that there were baking errors that a proper bakery would never sell to the customer. The creme brule tart had broken cream, it wasn't edible. Even a home Baker wouldn't serve that to guests.
Otherwise, I found… everything fairly one-note. They rely heavily on icing sugar as a main flavour component. The tart shells are sickeningly sweet, which works with a sour tart filling but most their fillings also taste like icing sugar. The pistachio tart also

Crust Bakery is the way to go for a quick bite breakfast. In terms of COVID safety, they have a good system in place. They limit the number of parties inside with two lines outside, one for picking up orders, and another waiting to place them.
After we were mesmerized by the window of offerings, when it was our turn, we decided on ordering two of the Raspberry, Lychee, Rosewater and Pistachio pastry's and chai tea lattes. For breakfast dessert, I had the marshmallow smore tart and my partner had a chocolate raspberry loaf.

On a chilly winter day in Victoria, I was craving some bakery treats. Luckily, Crust was only a short walk away! Before you even walk into the bakery, you'll be mesmerized by the dozens of baked goods in the store window. We stood outside for a good 5 minutes looking at all the options and trying to decide what we wanted to eat. Inside, there's additional items like cookies in large jars, and savory treats and sandwiches. We opted to try the fruit meringue tart, red velvet cookie sandwich, and gingersnap cookie. All were delicious, but I was particularly impressed with my tart! It had

Ok yum!!! We picked up lunch here while visiting the book store next door. Great location!
I thought it was going to be sandwiches made to order but it's not. They just have a few different options of pre made sammys that you can get heated up on the press. They have LOTS of baked goods. Gluten free options are plenty too, if you require. We got the roast beef and the falafel wrap. The roast beef sandwich was the best!!! The bread it came in was crusty on the outside and soft inside. It was full of sliced beef and cheese. Our fave!!!
We weren't super stoked on the falafel wrap - it was

I was very taken aback by the poor service here. It felt like I was an inconvenience to the girl "helping" me. She showed no interest, had no patience, or any form of customer service and on top of that - very rude!
I was hoping the pastries would be a redeeming factor, unfortunately they fell flat as well. I tried the cheesecake, chocolate donut, passionfruit s'more and pecan tart. None of the flavours stood out. The cheesecake was the best out of all of them.

Wonderful bakery for both sweet and savory treats. Located on Fort street west of Russell books, this tiny hole in the wall is full of all things wonderful.
Mostly, this is a place we stop for a coffee and snack to take down to the inner harbor to eat. There is a small bar with about 6 stools if you can't wait to eat.... But you're probably competing with the crowds of people who come through here most days.
Bright store. Friendly, helpful staff. Attentive service. All around well run business

Delicious pastries and great coffee. What a perfect way to start the morning!
We popped by this bakery in Victoria around 11am on a weekday and many of the pastries were already gone. I opted for a medium roast coffee and a quiche. The coffee was great and the quiche was even better. It was perfectly flakey and savory. I only wished I could have tried more of the pastries! There is limited seating inside but it seemed to have been relatively empty when we had went.
