Services
Cranky's journey began in 2002 in a 400sqft garage in rural Aldergrove. After a few years of growth it became obvious that a larger more central location was required. We moved into our current location: a renovated farmhouse in the downtown commercial district. Our small beginnings birthed an appreciation for every customer's contribution to the life of the business.
We're pretty good at making the most of small spaces and have learned to make the most of the limited space in our small shop. Seriously, it's chockerblock full of great bikes. Despite our small quarters we have a large inventory and usually have the bikes our customers are looking for in a variety of sizes.
Our selection of accessories ranges from water bottles, air pumps, fenders and racks to kid trailers and lighting systems to car mounted racks for carrying your bikes on your vehicle. Bear in mind that we've got tons of accessories in our store but in the off-chance that we don't have an item in stock we can usually get it in for you within a day or two.
Sometimes you want to ride in an area outside your neighbourhood or you want to take your bikes with you on a vacation. An automotive bike rack allows you to safely carry your bicycles on the top or rear of your vehicle with the assurance that you're bikes will arrive at your destination safe and sound.
If you're a do-it-yourself type who enjoys working on your bike we've got great news for you. We carry a large variety and selection of bicycle tools and maintenance products. From cone wrenches to multi-tools to bottom bracket removal tools, we can provide you with all the tools to fix anything on your bike.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!
I had my bike that needed some repairs after a different shop attempted the job, but could not solve. It was making noise and kept driving me nuts. I called Cranky’s and requested to bring my bike in to diagnose. The guys were very busy working on other requests, but did take some time to speak with me and I explained my concerns with my bike. One of the staff members listened to my request and took my bike for a ride around the lot to see if he could hear the issue I was speaking about. A few minutes later, they were able to diagnose a few spokes that were not installed correctly

I had visited this store today twice. one for my son's bike and second time was for my wife's bike. I was very pleasantly surprised by that they were not money oriented at all like other bike shops. very welcoming atmosphere, honest n reliable n knowledgeable staffs, definitely worth to drive from other side of Langley. I felt like I am very fortunate to know this store and they are the people who love bicycles. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!! will visit again.

Cranky's Bike Shop in Aldergrove offers expert service and care. They take a personal interest in each customer. I took my carbon fibre bike there to have a new chainring and pedals installed. They carried out the work quickly and perfectly, just as I had hoped. As a bonus, I was surprised because the cost for the service was quite a bit less than I expected. Professional service at fair prices! What more could one ask for? I've already recommended Cranky's to friends and family members.

The staff are always incredibly friendly. However, I brought an older but functional bike here for service, explaining that I was going to start using it for commuting and wanted to make sure everything was working well and in good condition. They took it in for a general tune up, charged me $50 and said everything was great. A month later I ended up at a different shop needing a quick flat fix. That shop told me that in quick visual inspection while fixing the tire they noticed a multitude of problems with the bike: tires badly cracked and needing replacement, brake pads old, oxidized, cracking

Probably one of the best places to buy a bike bar none. Local resident service, small town feel, cuz it is a small town! Great products and a knowledgeable staff and fabulous service! A joy to shop or browse. A Fun place to talk bikes and everything to do with them. Bought a commuter/mountain bike and thrilled with it! The Owner gives back to our community locally with a yearly "bike Jam" for kids too! If you want that attention you don't get a big box retailers, this is the place to buy/fix/maintain a bike and a they have a ton of accessories. Thanks Heath!

Excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable, and very affordable. I took my MTB here as I'm going to be doing a cross country trip, and wanted to make sure that it was going to get me from point A to point B. Heath explained in detail what needed to be done to it, and what didn't. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to upsell me; he understood my budget and tried to work within it.
I'm also not the most mechanically inclined, and was worried about parts breaking down on the trip--which is inevitable when you're riding such a long distance--Heath was super

This place deserves these 5 star ratings people are giving it. The sincerity of customer service is evident, you don't get any pushy sales talk or attempts to upsell anything you don't want. Simply great people there and you get really good value for your $. It's great to support a small business like this.

My wife and I were looking for a bike for her. We went to 5 bike shops and then this one. The service and price at Crankys was the best by far- we got the same bike here for about $150 less than everyone else and they were super nice and helpful about it. They worked with us for a long time to get the fit right and find the perfect saddle and seat post before we were even committed to buying the bike. Everyone was very nice and accommodating and there was no sales pressure.
The shop is very packed with bikes. Since it used to be a house it has a relaxed feel to it that a big commercial bike shop

Cranky's is simply the premier bike shop in the Valley. I started shopping with Heath at Cranky's 8 years ago when i lived in Aldergrove and have since moved to Abbotsford. But I still get all my work and parts done at Cranky's as that is the quality of shop it is. Best in business and best in his field. Head in and tell him Jared sent you!!!

I'm not surprised to see these 5 star reviews.... Cranky's is a very community oriented shop. Heath has been a great help to me with parts and service. He's doing things right, running a great local bike shop, and I'm glad to see all his efforts are being recognized.
For those arriving by car, there's plenty of parking which is in a shared lot with the local credit union. They're located just half a block off the main route of Fraser Highway.

I loved the customer service in this store! I didn't end up buying my bike there, since I was looking in the low-end arena and they seem to have more selection in the mid- to high-end bikes, but the staff were very knowledgeable, gave good advice, and were extremely friendly. We've bought a number of accessories and had service done here in the past, and we've always been very happy with them.

The next time you are wandering through a big box disaster store looking for some bored 17 year old to tell you they don't know if they have that in stock.... think about this review, and remember there is still good service to be had...
My 6 year old son learned to ride his bike minus the training wheels last week. His uncle took him and his little bike to Cranky's to get a kick stand installed. The lads at Cranky's caught on to the momentousness of the occasion, and made a big deal about the whole thing. They put the bike into the shop, and let my son help tune it up and instal
