Consistently VERY hard to find the locations for swimming pools. I have been to 3 different locations for pedalheads and each time the pools have been extremely difficult to find (to the point where we ended up missing our first class on 2 separate occasions despite allowing ample time to arrive and park). If you attend the Park Royal location, give yourself lots of time and ask for clear directions first, because you will NOT find it otherwise and end up wasting a lesson or two. Also the prices seem quite high given how young and inexperienced most of the staff I've had before seem. Will

I book because there were no public lessons in our area And decided to cancel when public lessons became available also a friend had attend the lessons and said that they were not worth the investment. the customer service is not great and a $50 administration fee for cancelling is far too high would I not recommend them .

Lesson was cancelled by Pedalheads due to high chlorine levels at the Richmond location and we were asked to contact head office ourselves for a refund. I emailed them on Aug 20 and have not heard back from them. I sent a follow-up email today (Sept 8) If the school cancels a lesson and are not proactive about reaching out to families to offer a refund or to reschedule, the bare minimum is to respond to emails.

I cannot say enough positive things about Pedalheads (Newton location). My 6yo started the week with training wheels, they came off the next day, and she was riding confidently two days later. She begged me to sign her up for one more week. The instructors are wonderful- calm, kind, supportive, and skilled. I highly recommend this camp, and I am so, so, so glad we found it!!

Pedalheads offers great summer programs and my son participated in one of them and learned how to bike without training wheels and gained confidence and new friends. The instructors were so nice and great, and worked diligently in the sun with the kids.

The East York location was amazing! My kids had an incredible time and the staff’s energy and enthusiasm had them excited to participate! Miranda, Anthony and Ian, along with all the other staff on site, were so attentive towards all the children, knew them all by first name, and made them feel so special throughout their time. My kids left camp with stronger cycling skills including riding two wheels and learning bike safety rules, and also developed great confidence thanks to the constant encouragement by staff. My kids had so much fun they have been asking to go back and we will we registering

I actually can't express how amazing the whole experience with Pedalheads was. My daughter had never biked with pedals before, only a balance bike. By day 3 she was biking all on her own! Not only that she learned signals, road signs and helmet safety! Our instructors were incredible! Tyler and Catherine were absolutely amazing! They were both so patient and kind. Great communication and wonderful attitudes. Highly recommend and will definitely be back next year.

This is a review for Pedalheads swimming lessons at their Richmond location.

I brought my four month old baby daughter to take their swim lessons on a five-day Monday to Friday schedule. The classes are 25 minutes long and largely consist of singing songs in the water while getting your kiddo acclimatized to being in the water. They also spend about 5 minutes teaching you some basics of how to help dislodge something from your baby's throat in the event of an emergency. I'm not sure how useful this training was, to be honest.

There were 6-8 kids in my class each with a parent in the

My son did not learn anything. They did the same exact trails every day for 5 days even though there are similar skill trails throughout the park. They didn’t even bother to sort the kids out by skill level nor did they look at the proper equipment needed to be successful. Level 3 requires you to have proper Mountain bike with gears, yet a child shows up with a BMX. They didn’t tell the parent until the last day of class. As a result some kids were hindered while others lagged. Money could have been spent better elsewhere.

Worth every penny! Our son had barely rode his bike (maybe a handful of times) and when he did it was with training wheels only. With crazy work and life schedules and tending to our special needs daughter, my husband and I just weren't able to give the amount of time needed to teach our son how to ride a bike. So, we decided to sign him up for a week of half-day (3 hours) bike camp with Pedal Heads. After only his first day he was already riding his bike without training wheels! Was I surprised when I came to pick him up and he was zooming around like an old pro! Not only do they teach kids how

My 9- and 4-year-old daughters did two weeks of Pedalheads half-day camp this summer and it was fantastic. Not only did both of them have a great time but they also made a crazy amount of progress with their bicycling skills and are now riding confidently without training wheels. The staff were all very professional and my kids loved them. Highly recommend! :)

My son has attended Pedalheads camp for the past 2 summers. It is amazing how much he progressed during his week of camp. The instructors are great and make it fun! The kids learn important skills and learn how to bike safely on the road. When they are ready, they go on road/trail rides. Pedalheads is a great option for kids who want to learn to ride a bike and/or improve their riding skills.

We had a huge challenge in teaching our almost 10 year old ride a bike, that it became stressful and frustrating. We did a quick web search and find Peddleheads and it was the best money spent. She went from super chicken to loving bike riding. Thank you to the team at Peddleheads!

Amazing customer service! My younger son was admitted in hospital and they agreed to give me a full credit back to my account for the days missed. My older son was signed up for a 4 day camp and he was able to ride a two wheeler on day 1. I’m so impressed!

My 4 year old is attending the balance bike camp at Brentwood location. Her instructor, Hans has been very kind and patient. She is gaining lots of confidence while also learning to run, balance and put her feet up. She has also learned to ride on a small ramp and obstacle courses. The Manager, Natasha and Supervisor, Massimo have also been so encouraging and helpful.

I have used pedalheads for my boys for some years and while I appreciate the business concept and how they run the camps, I am very displeased with their administrative policies. I provided appr 4 weeks of notice to cancel some classes - that given the demand for camps right now will be easily filled - I was charged $50 per registration cancellation. Yes it's stated in their policy and it's my own fault for not paying attention however to claim that $50 is the administrative fee they have to pay to issue the refund is preposterous. Please be aware of the cancellation policy before you

I love, love, love the biking camp. My 5y old was very sad and dejected that he was the 'only' one who couldn't bike without training wheels and was refusing to bike when friends were around. Coach Becky and Coach Mathew were kind, and caring. My son was very worried about falling and hurting himself. They really coached him through his fears. At the end of the week, this same child was weaving around cones and doing shoulder checks and stops at stop signs without his training wheels! Coach Becky and Coach Mathew are miracle workers! We highly recommend Pedalheads (and will be letting

Seattle had a smoke alert at unsafe levels during the week of Aug 20 2018. It was declared unsafe for even adults to be outside for long times leave alone kids. Pedal heads continued to hold the outdoors camp and on reaching out to them for a refund responded on the last day of the camp. They noted in an arguably discourteouss note that though the camp was conducted to continue provide daycare to the kids (in govt declared unhealthy situations equivalent to smoking 20+ cigarettes in a single day) they would give a partial credit (but no refunds) towards their next camp for the 'inconvenience

Wow! My six year old daughter just attended a week long pedalheads camp in Portland, OR and it completely surpassed my expectations. My daughter was very fearful of riding her bike, even with training wheels. She has always been a cautious and somewhat anxious kid. She also hates camps, because they are usually a bit chaotic for her. So, going into this, my expectations were low. Somehow, she has come home every single day, excited about how much fun she was having. By day 2, she took her first pedals, on her own, and by day 4 she could completely ride her bike by herself, around cones in

Make sure you ask for a skills demonstration from your kid before you accept the 'report card' at face value.

Our six-year-old daughter could ride her bike, but could not figure out braking so we enrolled her in Pedalheads. She apparently passed with flying colours, and, according to her report card, she passed the 'braking' component. However it's a 6 weeks later and she still won't bike down any kind of an incline at all. She gets off and walks her bike, or, even worse, drags her feet on the ground, banging her shins into the pedals or scraping off her shoes

OK, an update...
I got in touch with Claudia from pedal heads to explain what happened the day we were in camp and to see what could be done to make sure it didn't happen again. Claudia met with me, took the situation seriously and has taken some steps to help the camp leaders get additional training and follow up specific to my situation.

We decided to go back and try a different camp. We ended up going to the Point Grey location for the evening session (5-7:30). It was a totally different experience from the North Van camp, and I would recommend it for the much younger kids. The
