If custom footwear is the right course for you, Foundation Chiropody will use the latest technology to assess your needs. First, we conduct a biomechanical assessment to obtain a 3D laser image of your feet. Using this 3D image, we make plaster of your feet. This plaster is then used to construct your custom footwear.

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. I called and an appointment was made for me quickly. I was totally impressed from the first contact I had with them. The clinic is bright, clean and exceptionally well maintained. Dr. Hu is kind, friendly and compassionate as well as extremely professional. He explained everything he was going to do, asked all the pertinent questions and performed the procedure quickly and (thankfully) painlessly. It is unfortunate that you can only give a 5 Start rating to Johnny Hu of Foundation Chiropody as he definitely deserves more. I have visited other foot care providers in Mississauga with many years in the business but none of them offered the professional care as Johnny did. Thanks very much for helping me with a foot problem that no one was able to help.

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Gary at Foundation Chiropody. It was a Saturday and I was frantically trying to obtain appointment for my 7 year old daughter as she was in pain. They were kind enough to squeeze in a last minute appointment and Gary was so splendid! We will come back here! My daughter said if I ever have a foot problem again I want to come here!! Super happy and highly recommend them!!

AMAZING bed side manor and knowledgeable Doctor,
I took my 13 year old son for an ingrown toe nail to see Dr Hu (Johnny)
My son has pretty bad social anxiety and his toe nail was very painful.
Dr Hu not only talked him through the whole procedure step by step, he made sure my son was comfortable and had great communication with him.
He also taught him a few things on how to prevent getting them as he gets them often. Also was very hygienic and all sculptures and trays were in a sealed package and were opened in front of us.
I would definitely recommend Dr Hu and his receptionist as they were

I was very impressed by the way Johnny looked after my husbands diabetic feet. The clinic that we were going to was closed since March because of COVID-19, so we missed two appointments. His feet were in rough shape, but after Johnny finished his pedicure they look great.

Having been assessed for orthotics last year, I was due for an assessment and a new pair of orthotics. I expected much of the same (which consisted of: sitting in a chair, having a podiatrist examine my feet, placing my feet on scanners and being handed a pair of orthotics a few weeks later).
I began my search for a podiatrist by calling clinics. Some of them were not interested in talking to me unless I made an appointment, and others just did not provide the level professionalism I was after.
