Always our go to accommodations when spending time in Canmore. Excellent rooms that are well appointed, clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast in a perfect location. We continue to return to this mountain gem and will in the future.

We had an amazing stay here! The lodge is quiet, cozy and the attention is certainly in the details! From the coziness and cleanliness of the rooms, reception area & kitchen, to the delicious homecooked breakfasts everything about this place screams warm, cozy and inviting.
The lady on staff who was the "jack of all trades" (she served breakfast, greeted us, cleaned rooms, folded laundry etc) was so warm, friendly and helpful!
We are so happy we decided to move forward with this getaway (we were uncertain if we should or not because of rising COVID case numbers) as it was exactly what we needed

A warm and welcoming home away from home nestled in downtown Canmore surrounded by the peaks of the Rocky Mountains. This quaint boutique hotel was the perfect answer to a relaxing time away in the mountains during Thanksgiving 2020. They have implemented Covid rules and cleaning protocols. We will be back for sure!

I stayed here with friends in the Wild Suite. It was great to have separate sleeping rooms and a sitting area. The decor is cozy and the views from our room were pretty. One downside was lighting in the room's sitting area, which was kind of dim for us.
Breakfast was excellent each morning with fresh baked goods, frittata, fruit, and granola. It's also really nice just to be able to go grab a coffee or tea at any time.

This is an incredible place that specializes in all the little details. Bicycles and hammocks to borrow, and the freshest, most special breakfast you could ask for. Right in the heart of Canmore, it’s easy to explore the town while still being removed enough for a quiet sleep.

Very nice bed and breakfast. The rooms were cozy and well themed. We always had positive interactions off the staff, who were very nice. Their breakfast was amazing! A variety of things to choose from, lots of different tea, and an automated coffee bar! Nicely situated for trips in to Banff and exploring the region.

We stayed at the Paintbox lodge to celebrate our 20th anniversary and loved it. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. Downtown location is as good as it gets and the breakfast was delicious. I still savour that breakfast...

Loved our stay at the paintbox lodge, our room was beautiful and the staff was so nice. I loved that they had Rocky Mountain Soap Company products for toiletries and the coffee machine was the best! Thank you!

Stayed here three nights for a reunion with my sister and our cousin. What a fabulous hotel! We felt welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. Our suite was cozy and unique and the hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious. It was a bonus to be here while Canmore Uncorked was happening. We ended up having… dinner at the Paintbox three successive nights. Each meal had a different theme and each was outstanding and delicious! We had such a great time this weekend that we have already booked the Wild Suite for the same time next year. Can't wait to

Paintbox Lodge is an ideal place to stay if you want some extra TLC in Canmore. From here, you can walk anywhere downtown and the accommodations are superb. You can serve yourself coffee, cappuccino, espresso, or tea anytime from a high-end machine in the dining room, where a home cooked breakfast is also served. It is homey and rustic and high-end, all at once. Erin, who communicated with us beforehand (recommending places for dinner), was a talented cook and amiable host. We would go back if we could, and recommend this place to everyone.

I was recently married in this beautiful spot and could not be told enough how incredible it was by all of my guests. We were able to sleep 18 of the 30 guests on site with a delicious (fresh baked scones and a hand orange juice squeezer) breakfast in the morning. I have to say that one of my favorite aspects about this place was that they give you your privacy by leaving for the day. Beautiful interior, a kitchen to die for and such friendly and helpful staff made my wedding ridiculously easy for myself and my guests. There is not enough great things I could say about this place. Awesome bathrooms
