Our optometrist in Hespeler Eye Care provides eyewear prescriptions and offers corrective laser eye surgery co-management as well. Hespeler Eye Care offers a wide range of eyewear including the latest styles in designer sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses. We also carry many accessories to complete your optical purchase. Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. If you do not see your plan listed here, please give us a call and we would be happy to assist you. Our staff is also always available to answer any questions regarding your benefits.
Do you have any of the following conditions: diabetes (medicated or diet controlled), glaucoma, eye turn, lazy eye, or cataract?* Unfortunately we cannot book an appointment for you at the moment. Currently, all Ontario optometrists are in a job action due to a breakdown in negotiations with the government, and have made the difficult decision to withdraw from delivering any exams that may be OHIP eligible at this time.

Upon walking in I was greeted by the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Once inside the staff was just as welcoming. Dr. Tinkham was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything quite well.

Absolutely no issue with Dr. Flatt and his great service. But I have to complain about the pair of glasses I got from here. The frame breaks at the same place every 8-10 months. After 3 fixes, I was told that they no longer make the same model so I was given the option to buy another pair. I have been wearing glasses for 25 years. I still have glasses in good shape, (just out of style) from 5, 10, and 15 years ago. I would never expect frames break for no reason at the same place all the time. I used to sell machinary to factories. If a machine has a life time of 5 years and it keeps breaking down

The front office staff are very professional and pleasant and the doctor is knowledgeable and caring - highly recommend!

Not a good experience at all. I took my child for a first exam and nothing was explained. The dr was stand-offish, didn't answer our questions and left us completely confused as to how to address the visual disturbances she was experiencing. I would not return here, and certainly would not recommend Dr. Erol.
