Dr. Zak has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 20 years, graduating from veterinary college in 1989, has completed his postgraduate studies at the same college, from which received his MVSc, & Doctorate degrees. When my cat needed emergency treatment, they took her in on new years eve an hour before closing. Dr. Zak was able to quickly diagnose her and and with his treatment, she was back to her normal self in no time! My boyfriend and I have gone there with our cats ever since. Staff is always friendly and professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about your animals health! Prices are good and Dr. Zak is very thorough and patient!

Dr. Zak is amazing. He quite literally saved one of our dogs lives by spotting the smallest amount of cancer in one of her toes (of all places). At first I was skeptical but we agreed to have her toe removed and the tests confirmed exactly what he expected. I'm still amazed that he caught it so fast and two years later the dog is still thriving and loving every day of her life. Great guy and very honest. You can trust this man.

Dr. Zak is awesome! We had an emergency situation with our dog and he saw us right away. He was very patient in helping us understand all our options as well as the risks, and in determining the best course of treatment. We always felt our dog’s best interests were in mind and had confidence in Dr. Zak’s expertise and care. The staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Dr Zak and his team at Brooker Ridge have been looking after our 2 kittens since we rescued them. They have been available for every panicked call and every legitimate emergency. They all truly care for your pets as much as you do. We've never felt gouged or taken advantage of. Our kittens will never go anywhere else as long as Dr Zak is here.

Dr. Zak and his staff were amazing when I brought my Coco in last week. She was not feeling well and it turned out she had a bladder stone. First of all they were able to accommodate my emergency and then fit… her in for surgery within the next couple of days. I was educated with all the options I had to choose from and he was very understanding with my concerns. His staff make you feel comfortable and I knew my Coco was in good hands. Her stitches were clean and did not require any extra care. Within a couple of days after her surgery she was back to normal. Thank you Brooker Ridge Animal
