Gorham Animal Hospital has been providing high quality service to pets and their owners for over 30 years. Our team strives to provide experienced and compassionate veterinary care to your extended family members. We make a strong commitment to provide the best possible care with an emphasis on education and preventive medicine.
Sylvester was the first of our rescue cats. He has a history of urinary tract blockages and was adopted by Gorham Animal Hospital to ensure his treatment and ongoing requirements are met. He was quickly named, when upon arrival he was found to be staring at the resident bird. He has quite the appetite, so much so that a wall had to build to keep him away from food orders for clients, although that doesn't stop him from trying to break in.
Gorham Animal Hospital offers experienced and compassionate veterinary care in a traditional clinical setting and also provides house calls in the privacy and comfort of your home. Dental procedures: cleaning, extractions, gingival hyperplasia treatment and digital xrays when required. New services include the webstore with thousands of products that can be delivered right to your door.
He had thrived with his social personality at the clinic, not only greeting clients, but usually cuddling his way up onto laps. Sadly, Bobby developed cancer and as per the advice we give clients, he was euthanized to ensure that he left us with dignity and without suffering. He is dearly missed. Archie was quite the chatterbox while Edith was more of a listener.
Few procedures in veterinary medicine have such a dramatic effect on the quality of a patient's life. We often hear that a client is unaware of their pet's oral discomfort until they see the improvement in a pet after a dental procedure is carried out. They are then commenting on a pets' increased energy, and that they are eating or playing with toys and food again.

The animal hospital staff delivered more service than I expected, calling once a day to check on our success pilling our cat, and giving us excellent tips over the phone, until we had regular success. They also offered to look at weekly pictures of our cat to observe for signs of improvement. On top of that, they surprised us with a Christmas picture of our kitty that they took while she was there for her visit, and surprise emailed it to us. Sweet.

Gorham Animal Hospital is great. We have been taking our new puppy (4 months old) here since we first got him. They are fast and reliable about getting our puppy appointments and most of all trustworthy, caring and super knowledgeable. I have been taking my pets here for the last 10 years and have always received amazing service from everyone you come in contact with. Everyone is exceptionally friendly, and they take the best care of my cats. They are thorough and will always give you the most honest feedback on your pet's wellness and provide you with necessary solutions if needed. I love Gorham Animal hospital. I’ve always received amazing professional care for all my animals.
I can call the office anytime of the day and they will fit me in at my convenience, even in a emergency. Our past dogs have passed away but, Sheri and her staff always took amazing loving care of both Chanel & Mowgli.
“Now just recently we have a new puppy”(Scarlett) she is part of my family, we are super delighted to welcome Scarlett.
Due to Covid Scarlett has to been seen with me outside waiting. I have complete trust with Sheri and her staff that they will take excellent care of my little
