Dr. Corinne Knight began wearing glasses at age 8, and became fascinated by vision and Optometry during her childhood eye exams. She finished her undergraduate studies in her hometown at the University of Calgary, and went on to complete a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1985 after achieving Dean's List all four years and graduating with Honours.
Although you may have clear vision, only a regular and complete eye exam can guarantee the health of your eyes. The following information will help you better understand the relevance of the eye exam tests you may undergo during your visit to your Optometrist. During a complete eye exam, both your vision and eye health will be measured and evaluated through a series of distinctive tests.

Peripheral vision: Identifying how wide your peripheral vision is will assist in detecting neurological and retinal diseases. Corneal topography: This provides the most detailed information about the curvature of the cornea.
A pair of glasses has two components: the frame and the lenses. Each one must be selected carefully for your complete satisfaction. After a thorough examination of your eyes, your Optometrist and the clinic's specialized staff will be able to provide a personalized selection of frames and lenses that best suit your activities and prescription.
Plastic lenses are 50% lighter and resist well to impact than those made of other materials. Also, plastic lenses can be tinted to a wide variety of colours. This high-index lens allows for a thinner lens, great for those with strong prescriptions. The lens is 10% thinner than glass and 15% thinner than plastic.

Really grateful to have Dr Knight as my optometrist. I've been going here for probably 10 years now and have only had good experiences (except for that eye puff pressure test, but that's on the test, not the clinic haha). Dr Knight is super professional and great at her job and the receptionist is a dream to deal with. Never had any problems getting my prescription or billing my insurance.

Dr. Knight and her team are incredible. I have been coming to the clinic for 5 years now and even though I don’t live in the neighbourhood any more I will always make the drive.
Dr. Knight is incredibly knowledgeable and answers any and every question you could have. She spends a lot of time with her patients and her staff is amazing too!

An exceptional optometry clinic. Dr. Knight and her team provided an exam and service at the level I have never experienced at any other optometrist. The level of care I get from Dr. Knight and her team is exceptional. Everyone is kind and professional and instantly put me at ease. The prescription for my glasses is complicated and I’ve never had a problem with a pair of glasses from Marpole Optometry. It is why I keep going back to Dr. Knight and her team. I highly recommend them!

I had to go in during the first re-openings of covid19 because my son had injured my eye and I was in pain for a week.
Marpole Optometry Clinic was very detailed in ensuring the safety of their employees and myself. They were very thorough in providing details prior to my visit. On the date of my visit, I noticed they had put up barriers and I was asked to sanitize my hands before and after completing my registry forms. While waiting, I noticed employees cleaning and sanitizing in between clients - all surfaces and touchpoints.

Dr. Knight is the best doctor I have ever met. She is nice, professional and patient. She is a kind of person that you will like her when you meet her at the first time and you will "love" her when you know her :-). Although I do not live in that community any more, I still travel back to see her for my regular eye check. I have ordered several pairs of glasses for myself and my family from her clinic without any problems. I highly recommend her and her clinic.

I easily booked a eye test in store while walking by. I completed their intake form in advance and showed up early for the eye test. At the appointment I was brought into room and two of the three devices measured my eyes and then I was seated in the “read the letters” room with Dr Knight. Every question I could think of was easily and fully answered and everything felt unhurried and thorough. It was decided with my input what I wanted and what my options are.
The decision to upgrade to a specific style of lens that better addressed how I wanted to use my glasses
