Amanda Fernandez is a Senior Cutting Expert, Stylist and Keratin Specialist with 9 years under her belt. Prior to becoming a hairstylist, she obtained an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration. However, she felt she needed more, so she decided to pursue her passion and embarked on a new journey in the hair industry.
Sonia is a passionate and meticulous colour expert with an illustrious career spanning 20 years in both hair and fashion. Staying relevant and current is the key to Sonia's success as she is constantly training with the top influencers and educators in the industry. Sonia has a passion for blonding, balayage, and colour corrections.
Matt has been involved in the hair industry for fifteen years, and before that he was involved all throughout his schooling as a visual artist and painter. Matt has been a dual stylist his entire career, but it's now choosing souly to focus his career on his true passion which is colour. Not only is he certified in Goldwell colour, but he is also a hair extension specialist and enthusiasts.

I always have the greatest experience at the Manor. Sonia and Amanda are true artists! Their knowledge of colouring and cut is fantastic. I always leave so happy with my hair and also from the experience. They are so sweet and caring which is why I’ve been coming here for years ❤️. After over a year dying my hair with box red at home due to the pandemic, I decided it was time to go back to blonde. Matt was so great about consulting with me to find the right shade. I brought pictures for Amanda so she could get an idea of the style I was going for. I wanted something that you’d transform from relaxed and stylish to very edgy. Both she and Matt were almost as excited as I was for the transformation. You can see the fabulous results below. I was so thrilled with the incredible job they did, all the while with Covid procedures in place and a super clean and inviting environment

Had my first visit to The Manor salon today and I will definitely be back!
I had my colour done by Sonia and cut by Amber. They were both incredible. I am beyond happy with how my hair turned out.
Sonia and Amber were so lovely as well I felt like I could’ve talked to them for hours.
All the staff were so friendly too which definitely makes a difference.
I had such a good experience and I’m already excited to go back! :)

Love coming to Manor! I've had wonderful blowouts done by Lucy and recently a haircut and style by Amber, and I've never been disappointed. My hair is long, thick and naturally wavy/curly and I like it to be cut in a way that I can wear it both straight and curly, and I also hate taking off too much length. Amber listened to exactly what I was looking for, shared her advice, and delivered wonderfully. Everyone is professional and knowledgeable and the ambiance is very relaxed and cheerful. I've been to many salons downtown and midtown Toronto, and Manor is by far my favourite. Highly recommend

I had Lucy do my balayage and she was so conscientious of making sure the colour suited my skin tone and that I was comfortable with the change since this was the first time dying my hair. I felt part of the salon family and everyone was so polite and kind. I had Amber cut my hair and she made sure to understand how I style my hair before cutting it. She also suggested some changes but nothing drastic and something for me to ease into which was really nice. I left the salon feeling so confident and happy with my look and the entire experience. I can’t wait to go back!!

I went to the salon for a colour correction and had a consultation with Sonia (the colourist) to see what could be done to rectify a colouring job gone wrong. Sonia was great - she was able to fix EVERYTHING and ended up giving me exactly what I wanted! I left the salon feeling 1000% better - they definitely have gained a new client for life - I am forever grateful to Sonia for making me feel beautiful again!

Amanda is a genius with scissors, and worked around the mandatory face mask to ensure that I looked and felt pampered and gorgeous. If anyone needs to get some hair TLC done, The Manor Salon has Covid-19 health and safety protocols nailed: socially distanced clients, masks at all times, no hair washing except for colour, no blow dryers, and above standard cleaning of all chairs and tools. They ensure their clients feel taken care of in every way.

I love the Manor! Such a great, kind, and smart crew of artists. I got my hair coloured BEAUTIFULLY by Matt and cut and styled by Amber. Was there for 5 hours (multiple colours, lightening, cut) and it flew by with the fun ambience and team. The space is stunning too. Mt Pleasant is a fab ‘hood and made ever better with The Manor!

Another great experience with Matt! Matt had to fix my hair bc I made the mistake by trusting another salon to do my hair and they completely fried it, leaving me with dead split ends and a horrible choppy uneven haircut. I immediately contacted Matt and he saved my hair.
He did exactly what I wanted, an olaplex treatment, hair colour correction and a cut correction. He explained everything in detail before we even started and also gave me hair care tips to help my hair get healthy again. He is always thoughtful and asks if I am comfortable, if the water is not too hot etc.
So happy I am able

I do believe Matt has given me the best haircuts of my life, the atmosphere and professionalism of the rest of the staff was also not unnoticed. A very welcoming and inviting atmosphere led to a wonderful haircut as well as a great time which felt as if it were among friends. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

This was my first time to this salon and I loved it! The staff were professional and friendly.
Throughout the appointment, Amber provided me with helpful tips so that I could recreate the look at home.
It seemed like a majority of the other clientele were returning customers who are happy with the services. I would definitely recommend this salon and will be returning for my next haircut.

I made a last minute appointment on the recommendation of a friend. The salon itself is lovely, bright and elegant but it's the people there that make it such a great place. Everyone is accommodating, friendly and helpful. I felt both my stylist and colorist listened to my instructions and the execution was flawless.

For starters, my wife is a customer. Colours, highlights, blow dry, whatever it's called - she always comes out looking amazing.
After enjoying her results.. I decided to give the place a try, and have quickly become a dedicated customer.
I like the overall experience, high quality and assurance that I'll walk out looking much better then when I came in. From a guy's perspective, you can't really ask for more.

The girls at the Manor are lovely and talented - I've had every cut and colour imaginable, and they've make me look great every time! I recently even did hair extensions, which were easy to maintain and looked totally natural - I had Disney-Princess-levels of volume and length for 4 months! The space is hip yet welcoming, with spa water and a variety of coffee and tea options available. I definitely recommend!
