Services
Monki was born in 2012 with a singular mission to help fellow Calgarians start their day off with a smile and a little deliciousness. For 5+ years, our passionate Monkis have embraced Calgary's vibrant breakfast movement by bringing some fun, freshness and innovative twists to local breakfast classics.
Our original Beltline breakfast club is located along the southwest corner of Downtown Calgary on 10th Ave SW right across from Community Natural Foods. Upon coming here, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in one of Calgary's oldest heritage buildings! The building's unique red brick character and artsy surrounds will have you feeling warm & right at home.
Be it a weekend family outing, business lunch or a brunch date, enjoy a fulfilling breakfast dining experience in Calgary's Inglewood. For almost 6 years since opening our original Beltline joint, 'Small space, long waits' was the most frequent complaint we continued to receive. We could only address this by expanding into a new location - at a neighbourhood that fits the 'Monki mantra' - innovation, collaboration & community.
At Monki we've taken all the steps to ensure that we are a safe place to come and enjoy a meal. We've increased the frequency of sanitation as well as given more training to our team on how to conduct themselves in a cleaner manner. Our tables respect the AHS guidelines for social distancing, and we've made hand sanitizer available for all to use at their convenience.

A little gem in Inglewood! Make sure to call ahead as seating is limited. We had about a half hour wait before the host checked our vaccination and identification. The menu is available through a QR code. The servers are friendly. Our glass of water and our coffee cup never got below being half empty. The food is delicious!

It took us 1.5 years to finally made it inside and try their delicious brunch food! We are trying to get in at their Beltline location for so long, but we always end up waiting for like 2 hours to get inside and decided to just try the other brunch places. When they finally opened the resto for full capacity, we took the chance to try it again at Inglewood location and finally made it after waiting for just 35mins. We ordered breakfast bowls with poached eggs, hash browns and sausages. It’s a bit expensive compared to other similar brunch restaurants. The potatoes are a bit large for my liking

Great brunch spot!
I messaged the restaurant ahead to ensure that they had GF options since my friend is celiac. They confirmed a few dishes and options for her.
We went on a Monday morning - there was no wait and so need to go on the waitlist.
I ordered the Brisket Poutine and an iced coffee. We didn’t wait long at all for the food and drinks. The poutine was amazing. I’ll definitely order this again. It was a perfect mix of flavours and textures. The brisket was super tender. The meal was enjoyable and the service was great. We were able to stay a little while after paying the bill to

We had breakfast here the other day. It was a bit of a wait and they mentioned they were short staffed which happens. Overall our service was good and the food came out really quick. The meals were good, but not as good as we anticipated. The potatoes were undercooked which is disappointing. The French toast was the best part of our meal
