I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I received his Juris Doctor law degree from Western University. I have practiced law at Aitken Robertson since 2015.
As dedicated criminal defence lawyer, I earned a J.D. at the University of Ottawa, articled under Richard Aitken, and I now lead the firm's operations in the Kingston, Belleville, and Ottawa offices full-time. I immigrated to Canada from Eastern Europe at a young age and I keep those challenges in mind as I assist those facing challenges of their own.
I take a client-centric approach to my work and I am always on the lookout for any infirmity in the prosecution's case. I was helping out a friend looking for a criminal lawyer. Until, I found Aitken Robertson. I wasn't sure how this will turn out if I found the right lawyer for my friend? In the end, I was very happy to hire Aitken Robertson and especially Brenda and Jason who helped out my friend and after several months the courts decided to drop all charges.

Huge mistake getting involved with these people. I would have been better off sticking with my free representation.
They didn't improve my situation at all. They didn't inform me of all the repercussions of my plea, they were late for our meeting leaving no time to review facts or prepare. They presented inaccurate information to the court as a result.

TLDR: Like a few other comments here -AVOID AT ALL COST- Don’t be fooled by whatever star rating the average is, if you look below you can see even Mark Cardy (my paralegal) giving the firm 5 stars to boost ratings. I couldn't give this firm, or Mark Cardy - 0 stars, 1 was the lowest. This experience was abysmal. I’ll start with the highlight – I… was sent me wrong documents with the wrong charges to sign. I didn’t think it gets worse than that. I received a copied and pasted document he didn’t bother editing/reading fully. This was after failing to attach this
