Dr. Lancelot A. Brown has been in private practice since 1992, with a particular interest in cosmetic, implant & pediatric dentistry. Dr. Schlesinger received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Western Ontario. Since then he has attained several surgical fellowships. Andie is usually the first person that you will speak to on the phone and see as you enter our office.

In addition to making your dental experience a rewarding one, we work hard to keep down the cost of your dental care. We are a "fee for service" practice, which means fees are payable at the time of your appointment unless written financial arrangements have been made with our staff. As a courtesy to you, we will work with you and your Insurance company to help you receive the maximum benefits available under your policy.

Lovina is the best hygienist in Toronto, I truly believe that. Of all the cleanings I’ve had in my life none have been as thorough as hers. She answers all of your questions and has a very professional yet warm and caring vibe. She really is skilled in her craft and it’s noticeable with how quickly she can complete such a quality job. Highly highly highly recommend.

I've been going to Dr. Brown's office since 2008. He is extremely talented, considerate, and provides the highest calibre of care. He is also current with the latest procedures and studies connected to oral health.
His team is extremely caring, kind, and respectful. They take time to really get to know you, your family and ensure that you're well informed. They also treat everyone the same regardless of insurance provider. They go above and beyond any office I've been to.

Its not to often that you come across a dentist that says to you " if you feel pain , I'm not doing my job " a very comfortable setting and the people are genuinely compassionate about your dental care. Top quality work in a timely manner while listening to some soothing tunes in the background. I give him a 5 out of 5 hands down , and I firmly believe you will too !!!

I went through a traumatic experience as a teenager during a tooth extraction procedure. When I first went to Dr. Brown and his team, my fear of being on the receiving end of the dental procedure was extremely evident. However, their patience, understanding along with my music of choice have minimized my fears. It has now been approximately 15years of confidence with Dr. Brown and his team and counting. Dr. Brown's office is always professional, kind, and caring. They take the time to make you feel comfortable, and keep the office very clean and sanitary. They've been providing care to me during the pandemic, including a dental surgery, and have made me feel safe at all appointments. Dr. Brown is very kind and always makes me smile. I would defiantly recommend for all cleanings and procedures.

Our hygienist was so wonderful with my 6 year old daughter. Made her completely comfortable and safe. Once again Dr. Brown has assembled an exceptional team that is both professional and caring at the same time. I've been to a lot of dentists/dental offices over the years and I would always have anxiety before my appointments. I've been going to Dr. Brown's office for the past 4 years now, and I no longer experience anxiety prior to my appointments. The staff are so friendly, always accommodating and helpful. The hygienist's make you feel comfortable and make cleanings a breeze. My wife and her family have been patients of Dr. Brown for a long time, and I have been going for a couple of years now. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they accommodate appointment changes when we need to make them- We live outside of the city but travel downtown for appointments. The office is always clean and professional, making it a nice experience overall. I would recommend this practice if you're looking for a talented, professional team to take care of your oral health.

Dr. Brown, Kristen and the rest of the staff are simply wonderful. They are always kind, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. The two hygienist I've seen have a delicate touch and talk you through the whole thing. And I always enjoy their yearly newsletter! For being in Yorkville, you'd assume the cost would be high but I've found their prices very competitive, especially given the level of service I've received.

Going to the dentist has never been a fun experience but my visit to Dr. Brown was pretty close! I had lost a huge filling and was fitted in for an appoitment. This was my first visit to this location. The office is really lovely and the staff are very friendly. I had never met Dr. Brown. He is very kind and wants to ensure his patients don't suffer. I needed a crown and was not looking forward to the mold, temp crown, and second appointment. To my surprise Dr. Brown said I could get my crown within an hour and a half. We were extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Brown ten years ago, and we have been patients ever since. Over those ten years, we have had many procedures done aside from the scheduled cleanings; fillings, wisdom teeth extractions, root canals, crowns and bonding. His work is meticulous. He ensures that you don't experience pain. The office is beautiful (and he plays great music!), it's easy to access and his office staff and his hygienists are terrific. I have been an extremely happy and satisfied client of Dr. Brown for the past 15 years or so, and I unfortunately have the kind of mouth that has required many dental visits. While it's unfortunate that the other reviewer had a poor experience, my own experiences have been so dramatically different that I actually have been left wondering if we're talking about the same dentist.

I was going through some reviews of places I've been to and noticed that the previous reviewer had a bad experience at Dr. Brown's office. I'd like to give you my opinion and experience at his office. When I call the receptionist was very professional and we went through a few timeslots and found one that was good for me, Now the reason I called was for a cleaning and sensitive gums. Drinking hot and cold was getting more sensitive.
When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and only had to wait about 5 minutes till they were ready for me. I met the dental assistant who went through

Steer clear of this 'dentist'. I had an absolutely nightmare experience with him when I lived in Toronto. According to him I needed 5 fillings, and he was going to do them all in one sitting. I told him I thought it was too much and he assured me it would be fine. He hollowed out my teeth and let his assistant fill them and she stabbed me in the face with an instrument because she wasn't paying attention. He came back in the room, told me he was going to finish the job. I left the office WITH A HOLLOWED OUT TOOTH that he overlooked filling! So I was back in his office 3 days later
