Stopped by for lunch before the holidays - happy to find these guys in a neighbourhood with so little open that time of day.
Mixed review on the place but ultimately worth 4 stars. Although the lunch prices are a bit more affordable, this spot does tread into fine dining territory. Service therefore was pretty spot on and friendly.
Food was either tasty or average. The molasses bread was basically incredible and my burger was tasty and enormously filling. My friend had the gnocchi which was small and bland.
Overall a good spot for lunch. I think it has typical financial district prices and a

Overall, if the perfect score was five stars, I’d give it three and a half. I was a little disappointed. I thought it would deserve a better grade. This restaurant may have been mediocre in my opinion, but it scored very high on Google Maps. I wouldn’t recommend it because there’s nothing to look forward to.

I would highly recommend Jump as an event venue. Our law firm recently held a cocktail & canapes party in the North Room four our team holiday celebration before attending a concert at Massey Hall. The ambiance, food and service was impeccable. Our event specialist Kim was such a pleasure to work with to plan and customize the details of our event. The planning and execution was seamless. Thank you to Kim, Janus, Zosia, and the rest of the O&B team for the warm hospitality and fantastic food!

Went a couple of weeks ago and had a server ‘Shelley’ she insulted us throughout the entire meal by making odd comments our outfits and asking why there was only 2 of us, didn’t we have more friends to celebrate a birthday with us, etc. the gnocchi was so over cooked it just tasted like soft cheese in a red sauce from a jar and it came out within 5 minutes of ordering which tells me it’s probably cooked just sitting in the back in 1 big container the wine was from NOTL which is where we are locals from, and was $20 for a 9oz glass which is actually the cost for a whole bottle. The atmosphere

Had our wedding here this month. I can only say great things about Jump. The staff were all so accommodating, friendly, and so kind. Made us and all our guests feel so comfortable and welcome. The food was amazing. My husband has a gluten allergy and they were so accommodating with this as well. All our guests were complimenting the service and food. I 110% recommend this place to everyone. We will keep coming back here for lunches and dinners! Thank you Jump!!

Sat at the patio with a friend for a quick dinner before the Jay's game. Have not been to Jump in a long time. Seemed to me that they have dropped a few things from the menu. No really shareable appetizers other than chicken wings.
Anyway we had the catfish and the burger. Ni complaints but no wow either.
Service was great.

The service and the ambience is great. But that's all there was. I was disappointed with the taste. We ordered the 'Lemon Ricotta Gnocchi' and 'Seared Wild B.C. Salmon'
The salmon smelled. I am not sure if wild salmon gives off a fishy smell or was it just stale. Even my partner sitting next to me was put off by the smell.
The Gnocchi was also pretty ordinary with heavy tomatoey sauce/taste.
The only bright spot was the 'Jump White Chocolate cheesecake', that was just fantastic.
This is a pricy restaurant.

Delicious!!! Wonderful service!!!
Had our anniversary dinner here. Ordered a bottle of champagne and splurged on the good food. My husband and I ordered the octopus, sliders, striploin and the special which was a miso cod dish on risotto. To finish with had the cheesecake with filo pastry. It was all very delicious and our server was amazing!!

I wanted to go here a couple of years ago but didn't get the chance so this year, I managed to rope a friend into coming to try the Winterlicious menu. It was fabulous. I had the salmon with the lobster bisque and it was so good. The dessert was a bit sweet for me but I'm sure it would be pleasant for moat other people. (I don't have much of a sweet tooth).
And normally, we worry that the menus won't be enough to fill you up, but after this meal, we were definitely filled to the brim with delicious food! Definitely will come back to try it outside of Winterlicious!

Went here with my co-workers for Winterlicious lunch. Two of us ordered the Mushroom tart, Paella and bread pudding. The other ordered the soup, chicken and cheese tart. The Mushroom tart, Paella and bread pudding were amazing. They all incorporated unique flavours and were creatively presented.
The soup and the salad were pretty average. On the Winterlicious menu, I would highly recommend going for the appetizer other than the soup and salad.
The service was amazing! They served all 3 courses with perfect timing. They didn't rush the service but was very efficient as we still managed

Came here for Winterlicious 2020 lunch menu $28/pp. The restaurant is quite pretty and lies right in the financial district.
Food: 3/5 It really felt hit or miss. I wish there was more consistency with all the dishes. The gumbo soup was rather bland and very lukewarm. However the mushroom ricotta tart redeemed the appetizer disappointment! It was served with quite a lot of pickled veggies which I enjoyed a lot.
For the mains, we got the grilled lemon chicken and the paella. The chicken was juicy and not dry but could be seasoned a bit more. I really liked their salmon/shellfish paella. The

Had an absolutely OUTSTANDING time here during Valentines Day. My boyfriend reserved a table for 8:30pm- we arrived a bit before so we were able to get a seat at the bar for a few drinks. After that we were seated quite quickly.
The service was amazing - I swear this woman could sell me a MLM product and I would have taken it! Super lovely woman.
We took the $89 fixed price menu for Valentines Day that comes with an app, a side, main, dessert and bubbly.
The appetizer, was TO DIE FOR. I got beef tartare and if it wasn't for my company I would have LICKED that clean - it was THAT good.

Went here for Winterlicious lunch, it was busy but nice ambience. The waitress was very professional. The food was excellent. I had mushroom tart, Salmon Paella and Chocolate banana bread pudding. It was fabulous. The only down side was the portion of salmon was very small whereas some people had much bigger pieces. The lemon chicken was better than the salmon paella.

I came here recently on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I was glad that they still offer the Winterlicious menu on weekends, so it was convenient for us to get to. The ambience is classy with high ceilings and modern lights. I also loved how the restaurant has a sunroof to let the natural light inside during the cold, winter months.
For appetizers, I had the mushroom ricotta tart which was plated beautifully, but I did not particularly like the taste. I also thought that the Gumbo Soup was too salty.
For mains, I recommend the Atlantic Salmon and Shellfish Paella, as it came in a decent portion

I was here with my friends for 2020 winterlicous. This restaurant is offering $43 for a 3-course dinner during the winterlicous.
Environment: cozy and romantic. The huge wine bar caught my attention. I think it's a perfect restaurant for a romantic date or grab a drink after work.
Food: we tried 2 sets of winterlicious 3-course meal and we also ordered some dishes from the regular menu.
Appertizer:
- creole gumbo soup (winterlicous menu): tastes like very light spicy tomato soup, I couldn't tastes the shrimp at all.
- green apple salad (winterlicious menu): average green salad

This was from summerlicious of a previous year, but since the licious season is coming back soon, I thought I should post my forgotten review up!
Decor and lighting is really nice in the restaurant. The plating and cutlery give a clean and polished feeling. The food is aesthetically nice (for the most part), though I had mixed reviews on it.
Cured Tuna Albacore and Broccolli Salad:
The broccolli was thinner and finer than what I am used to, which allowed the other flavours and textures to not be over powered. I found this a bit salty near the end of the dish though!

Walking into the curtained off private dining area, the tables were already set up with gleaming glasses of the caramel coloured liquor. It takes will power to not slug them back before the food arrives. Luckily, everyone's presented with a mug of Tom Collins made with Jim Beam and the table is set up with nibbles to tie us over: tasty terrine on crostini, a passable honey tarte with caviar, and a big plateful of crunchy chicharrón (its salty fattiness is cut nicely by the sweet bourbon).
Surprisingly, the meal started off with a lobster roll, not a typical item to pair with a strong spirit

Went for a friend's birthday - unfortunately service and ambiance was lackluster and made for an underwhelming night. I'll compare this to another high end restauraunt - both take online booking forms. At both restauraunts you pick a day, time, party size, and write whether or not its for a special occasion. At the other restauraunt, you are greeted by a welcome card for the occasion as well as complimentary desserts and/or drinks. Unfortunately at Jump, there is no recognition a special occasion was selected - just wondering why this even an option at booking if the staff won't

I'm surprised that there aren't more 5-star reviews for Jump. Our dinner was suburb! We went during Toronto's Summerlicious (restaurant week) so they were on a smaller menu. I do recommend having a reservation if you're going on a weekend.
We started our meal with the tuna tartare. I could eat a dozen of them and still enjoy it! Perfect balance of fish to avocado. I had the salmon dish, my husband had the crab carbonara. My salmon was cooked perfectly! The veggies and chickpea mash were also delicious. Hubby said his was the best pasta dish he's ever had. I also had

Recently moved to TO from Santa Monica and jump was our first date night in the city. Got a 9pm reservation and the restaurant was humming. Tall ceilings, bright lighting, good for groups and for date nights.
Had their Winterlicious menu - great selections! We also ordered their bacon-wrapped scallops a la carte.
Our favs: the bacon and scallops were absolutely amazing! Perfectly cooked, melts in your mouth, great cauliflower purée. A bit pricey for $23 for 2 pieces but the execution was flawless and totally worth it. Had the maple pork belly and ravioli from the Winterlicious menu and

Average food plated beautifully. The service was also average - the person serving our table was polite but unattentive and forgetful.
Caesar Salad - 5/5
Mushroom Soup - 4/5 : Very 'clean' simple soup. It tastes exactly what you would expect from a 'no cream, no butter' mushroom soup. Not rich, but very earthy tasting.
Braised Beef - 3/5 - The flavours and sauce were great but the meat was dry.
Ravioli & Pork Belly - 1/5 - I appreciate simplicity but this was just bland. The pork belly was overcooked.
Sticky Toffee Pudding - 2/5 - Not bad, not great. It's average

Last minute Monday motivation, I've decided to go for Winterlicious. Service was very nice and friendly. From the time you walk into the door, they ask if your coat need to be hanged and if you have been served. I didn't make a reservation as I couldn't find one on Open Table, they accommodated me and sat me on the bar. Again even dining at the bar, the service was great!
For the appetizer, I've ordered the Lobster Bisque. I think the orange sour cream was way to over powering, which made the soup too sour. I prefer a thicker consistency where I can taste a few bites of lobsters
