My name is Dr. Behzad Farokhzad, I am the owner and operator of Donlands Animal Hospital. I have been working in veterinary field since 1991 and solely in Donlands Animal Hospital since 2009. My primary interests include general and preventative medicine, dentistry and pain management. I also offer home and mobile services in the GTA.

This star is only for the doctor's expertise otherwise the experience at this clinic has been a headache. The receptionist is both rude and apathetic. Every time I call it feels like they have no history of my pet. The receptionist made me wait a week for an anti flee tablet. Once we got there she had ordered the wrong one and was trying to put the blame on us while she had all the information. Placed another order and said all is fine. After 4 days I received another call saying that she had not placed the order and the doctor needs to weigh our dog ro prescribe the tablet. When I asked why was

We took our dog here for a dental cleaning. The pricing was fair and they even assessed a growth during the procedure for us (which was confirmed to be not concerning). I found them to be really honest and fair — definitely won’t recommend unnecessary procedures for your pet. Our dog’s teeth are clean again, we’re very happy.

Cheep, kind, but not professional and cost my dog his sight. Learn from our experience. He prescribed my dog an anti bacterial as precaution before running stool sample because he seemed out of sorts. This was septra a human drug. He also took xrays to see the source of his pain.
Then my dog got very sick although dr. Ben was responsive he was clearly out of his league and said it could be internal. Turns out he had a rare side effect to the drugs that caused him eye issues. These progressed quickly into having to have my dogs eyes removed. Eye specialist found his eye problem odd and could not

I was referred to Dr. Ben by a friend of mine, because of the reasonable pricing and how kind he is. I was not disappointed!
I used to take both my dog and cat there, and was really impressed with the efficient service. He'd sing to both of my pets which really put them at ease when they needed shots and even their nails trimmed.
Unfortunately I had to move outside of Toronto, so I had to find a new vet closer to home. I cannot recommend Dr. Ben and his team enough!
