Since 1996, Dr. Ken Seaman and his staff at Puntledge Veterinarian Clinic have provided the Comox Valley with quality veterinarian care, in a gentle, caring atmosphere. Dr. Ken Seaman and his staff work to provide clients and their pets with the same care, service, and compassion that they expect for their own pets.

Puntledge Veterinary Clinic has been privileged to send its veterinarians on various animal assistance projects worldwide, such as the Canadian Animal Assistance Team (C.A.A.T.), and the Yelapa Animal Project more recently. We have been actively involved with M.A.R.S. Wildlife Rehabilitation in the past as well.
Services
Dr. Seaman graduated with honours from the University of Victoria in 1984 with a bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. Following that, he attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, graduating as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. In 1996, Dr. Ken bought Puntledge Veterinary Clinic, which at that time was located on McPhee Avenue.
Marina was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, changing residence in autumn of 1991 after coming to visit the Comox Valley over an August long weekend. She spent many years in the hospitality, tourism, and retail industries, fate took a turn and she found herself assisting at Puntledge. First with cleaning, moving on to veterinary assistant/reception, and finally taking on the responsibilities of clinic management.
Dree was born and raised in the Comox Valley. In 2002 she left home to study the Animal Health Technology Program (AHT) offered at Fairview College Campus in Fairview Alberta. After graduating with honours in 2004, Dree returned to her beloved valley, where shortly thereafter she was hired at Puntledge Vet Clinic.

Probably the worst vet in town unfortunately. Unclean ,the doc will come in late with stained fingers and the stench of cigarettes. Some of the staff can be extremely uninformed and challenging. Also the male vet in charge is flaky at best. If you question the medication or the medical directions then they'll simply severe services. What a disgusting clinic
I did not abuse any staff ever. That is a lie. Did I question what was best for my dog ? Absolutely. I believe there was a failure in diagnosis in my dogs condition. Typical response from a guy like this. . Keep your hands out of running lawnmowers

Professional, kind, fun and inviting. They remember my kitty and do everything they can to help us be the best pet parents ever. Whether our kitty likes going to the vet or not, I am always happy when we get to visit!

They were so sweet, my kitten needed an emergency visit after a raccoon attack. They got me in day of and have been taking such great care of her and helping me with everything that she needed at home for care. They were lovely and super straight forward. 10/10 would recommend.

Our cat got very sick from bladder stones and an enlarged uterus and Dr. Ken saved her life. We didn’t have any money saved for an emergency surgery and without the kindness of the people at this clinic we wouldn’t have our cat still. They even waived the 1000$ specialist fee because her bladder stones were imbedded in her bladder wall which they said they’ve never seen before. And almost every time we pick up her prescription food now they always ask how she’s doing after everything. Very caring vet techs, front desk staff, really everyone at this clinic is great. And although prices are

You can tell that the staff at this clinic love what they do. They all have so much care and compassion for the animals that come through the door. We're very glad to have found them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the valley.

We were so grateful that Puntledge Vet was able to see our baby Yorkshire Terrier Doggie Hunny one hour before closing during the holidays. Everyone working there was concerned, so friendly and gentle. I would recommend them 100% as they've now become our new Vet.

Will never go to another vet. this vet is truly the best. we have tried others and to be honest most were stuck up and rude but every single time we go here we are greated with a smile and the front desk ladies are so informative and helpful. they always answer every question I have and never hesitate to even put the flea treatment on for us. they always treat our dog like there own and do not seem like they are faking it. I was iffy about any vet from previous experiences but after a few months of going here we realized you get the exact wonderful treatment everytime. the veterinarian even put
