Jennifer was the absolute best! She was kind, professional and amazing with my 4.5 year old. The decor was perfect for littles with fun chairs and tvs to keep them occupied. My son told me he wants to come here for every hair cut and we most definitely will! Worth the drive from Toronto!

You get what you pay for here. You can’t possibly book a 20 minute hair cut for $20 and expect quality, I’m sorry. We asked for a trim and we showed a picture of our son’s last hair cut that we wanted to replicate. Instead, our son came out with ridiculously short bangs and uneven hair in the back. It’s terrible. Would 100% NOT recommend unless you have a very simple hair style.

Took my boy for his first haircut, Regina was great. She listened to our request about the hair length and trim and was able to soothe our crying boy when he got fussy. Very pleasant and professional. The establishment follows COVID protocols and takes everyone by appointments to prevent overcrowding. I liked the option of both parents being able to attend, one inside with the baby and the other outside watching through the window. Highly recommend!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I took my 9 month old baby boy to have his first haircut with Jennifer and it was the worst experience ever. Jennifer has no skill to work with babies. She didnt even say one word to him. He was crying non stop cause she was so unfriendly and ofcourse the whole thing was so new for him. I asked her if I could hold him or pick him up but she totally ignored me and my baby and didnt even try to do anything to calm him. PLUS I specifically told her that we want just a trim and NOT A HAIRCUT but she cut it wayyyy too short. VERY DISAPPOINTED I would never go back to this place

We have been coming to Beaners for years - my daughter has never had her hair cut anywhere else. It's affordable and a great experience for kids. The online booking system is simple and convenient. My children always ask for Jenn to cut their hair because she gets it "exactly the way they ask." Overall, great experience.

Today was my first time visiting Beaners and I have to say this i was pleasantly surprised.
Haircuts for my kid (age 6 on the autism specturm) are always a struggle. He screams and wails and tries to escape while I hold him down for the stylist to manage a decent cut. Regina at Newmarket location was extremely patient and she kept my kid engaged (inspitr of his tantrum) and gave him an amazing haircut! My kid hasnt had a haircut in over 2 years due to the pandemic and it almost a new experience for an autistic kid. So much patience on Regina and her teams part made me feel comfortable and welcome

We came here for my daughter's second hair cut. They're conveniently located within walking distance from our house. The stylist that took us in was very patient and friendly. It can't be easy trying to cut a toddlers hair when they are crying. We were very happy with the end result and will come back again

We've been here a couple times and it's always a treat. Jennifer, who gave our daughter her very first haircut tonight, and Janice, who cut our 4-year-old's hair at the same time were both lovely, patient and attentive. We would come every time if we didn't have someone to do regular trims at home, but the kids love the ball pit and sitting in the fun chairs, and for the level of quality you get from people who know how to manage squirmy kids with a smile it's worth the $
