I had an excellent experience with this law firm in the areas of family law, estate planning, and real estate. Their team is knowledgable, professional, and nimble. They consult with the client and really listen to her/him. They advise, but don't take over, focussing on their client's wishes and needs. They accommodate pandemic restrictions by providing video and teleconferencing options. Their prices are average, not the highest in town, although their services are of highest quality. I highly recommend this law firm!

Can't speak to the lawyers work but the elderly white haired estate clerk "Bev" was horrendous to deal with. Extremely short tempered and unprofessional to work with. She was clueless throughout the duration of our conversation, should have retired over 30 years ago as it seems her dementia is starting to set in. Stay far away from her as possible. Reflects poorly on the company as a whole.

I recommend the AGB lawyers for family law. I booked a 30 minutes free consultation with Gaetan Buttigieg that lasted more than 30 minutes, but the lawyer was a very respectful person and didn’t cut me off once the time for free consultation was up. He was very honest, and helpful in providing me his advice and guidance. He responded to my questions respectfully and talked about the available options openly. This year (2020) I had my own and my brother's Last Will & Testament and Powers of Attorney documents for Personal Care and for Property drawn up by AGB Lawyers. Gaetan Buttigieg took the time to explain each clause personally, and provided background information and advice on legal technicalities. This was important since I wanted to prepare proper documents only once, and Gaetan specializes in family law and wills, so he has the experience dealing with many similar cases.
As I am a guardian for my brother who is mentally disabled, it was important that my brother could understand each document

They will promise to do lots of work for you and then spend your entire first retainer on setting up your account. The way they do their billing is strongly in their favour. They involve multiply lawyers for simple tasks in increase their profits. I would't recommend this firm to anyone some of the work I paid for I am not even able to see so I have no idea if the work was done or not.
Then after you get your first bill and complain about the billing they will tell you that that reviewed the file and that if you would like to leave they can close down your file free of charge. I showed the file

AGB lawyers handled our first home purchase and helped go through everything with us to make sure we understood what all of the paperwork was. They explained how best to proceed and ensure all bases were covered to protect both my and my father's best interests.
