I had a great experience getting my hair cut here and will definitely be back. John did a great job hearing and executing what I wanted. The service was fantastic and the space is beautiful. I really appreciated their concern for covid safety and I felt very comfortable. The prices are also reasonable.

Friendly staff, beautiful location, prompt service. It was really easy to book my appointment, and the availability was awesome. It was also great to find a salon within walking distance of my apartment. Unfortunately, the day after I have neck and head pain from the washing station, which was really uncomfortable and hard. My haircut was a little shorter than I expected, but I know it's going to grow out and look great.

Was recommended to Alison by a friend who raves about her. She was absolutely right. Wonderful person and great stylist. Did not even get water all over my face , which happens often. Will definitely go back and recommend her to friends. Lovely place and enjoyable experience.

They are awesome, and really work with you to get the best hair style for you. I have been with my stylist Glen Sanderson, who is also the owner of DHD since 2007. OMG that is 12 years!

Just did a walk in at this studio and was fortunate to have an opening right away...John cut my hair and he did an excellent job. I am currently waiting a transplant and the style he gave me is much easier for me to manage , so very pleased. Already have next appointment booked. Thank you John

For longer than I care to think about I have resented having curly hair... too thick, too frizzy, so uncool.... but then I started having my hair cut by Glen. Finally I have come to "accept" and feel good about my hair. I've even had people in other parts of the world ask if i'd mind telling them who my hairdresser is! So much happiness and appreciation, thanks to Glen!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I went in there for a consult and they senior stylist was so RUDE. She barely heard what I wanted and started telling me what SHE thinks I should do to my hair. When she finally gave me a chance to speak, her response to my request was an INSULTING NO. I was happy to walk out and try some other place but she… kept harassing me and trying to convince me how "ugly" my choice is.
Um...?? What kind of professionalism allows for personal comments like that. I'm a woman of color and her comments were borderline RACIST. She basically bullied me into booking

I've been getting my haircut by Pam for over a decade. Love how awesome I always look and makes me feel fabulous whenever I get a fresh cut. Three thumbs up!

Very clean, staff polite and they even offer you drinks and coffee :) I got Pam, she gave me a great haircut! I was so affraid to change my hair stylist and let someone else to do my hair but from the moment Pam started to cut my hair I knew she understood me perfectly what I want and did a great job! Recommendation! Oh yes, I paid 63$ plus tip

Saw Helen today for the first time - what a wonderful stylist! Her and Glenn made me feel at home and I left with possibly the best colour and trim that I've ever had. I will return forever! Thank you so much, DHD!

I could not have been happier with ehat Alison did with my hair. It was exactly what I was looking for and I usually have a hard time walking away feeling great after getting my hair done. Not with Alison yesterday. I felt and feel amazing and it was a perfect gift for mother's day. :)

Pam did my almost-shoulder length hair and I am so in love with it. Exactly the shape I wanted, low maintenance, + a discount for being a new customer! Walking home was magical. The security guards at my building complimented it. Cute strangers made eye contact with me. Puppies appeared out of nowhere. I'm new to Toronto and am beyond pleased with this small, cute salon with friendly staff and talented people. A little pricey, but so are the best things in life. Totally worth it. A++ would recommend.

I have been a customer for over 4 years. Alison does an amazing job taming my locks and all of the stylists are so nice. It's a great salon with very affordable prices.
