I am a versatile Master of Social Work (MSW), Registered Social Worker (RSW), psychotherapist, with a strong clinical focus in working with individuals and groups from a trauma-informed perspective. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Adult Development from the University of Guelph, and received my Master degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo.
I have worked in community agency, university, and outpatient hospital settings, as well as consulted for various organizations to assist in implementing trauma-informed care approaches. You may find that I do things a little differently than other talk-oriented therapists. Together we will work to explore the root of the issue, at a pace and within a practice that honours your story and where you are at.

Services
I work primarily with young adults (18+ years) and adults of diverse backgrounds, identities, and orientations, looking to step into their full potential or to get 'unstuck' in some way. In individual work, I will work with you one-on-one to provide a safe and compassionate space to begin to make sense of it all.
We will meet via. Zoom. Each session will be recorded and made available only to you as the participant for you to revisit your work. A focused, small-group learning format that is a fit for you if you would like to: learn advanced techniques, practice taking risks in the model in a safe environment, and receive accurate feedback on your work.
Have you ever had the thought, "a part of me feels that I can do this, and yet another part is holding me back"? Most of us have, in one way or another, acknowledged that we have many parts within us. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a non-pathologizing, creative, and integrative approach to treatment grounded in this perspective.
Payment methods to cover session fee includes: cash, cheque, e-transfer, and credit card processed via Paypal. Your insurance plan or Employee Assistance Program may cover services provided by a Registered Social Worker. To verify, I would encourage you to speak to your insurance provider to determine if my services are eligible for funding.
