Cancelled my reservation (booked months prior) on the day of my flight with the reason being that I requested it, which I did not. Customer service went to voicemail and said to leave my number and wait an hour for a call, I did this multiple times and never got called back. As of yet I haven't even been refunded

Great location: 5 min walking distance from restaurants, shopping center (Alexis Nihon), Metro station (Atwater), Movie theater (AMC). - Great View (was on the 19th floor !) on Montreal downtown. - Crew was helpful even during these Covid difficult times (they were understaffed but always doing their best to help)
Disliked · - WiFi wasn't great: had to use my data - great 2 have 2 TVs but when you turn on the 2nd one, the image goes bad on the 1st TV (TV signal getting weaker after splitting I guess) so having 2 TVs was useless - Plugs next to the kitchen sink don't work

As I was told by the manager herself, they have gone from 35 staff to 4. Don’t expect your room to be cleaned. Cross your fingers that someone is actually available to change your towels or book the pool. The room had to be treated for cockroaches during our stay and no one seemed to acknowledge how unacceptable it is to charge people for a room that they know has cockroaches, has to be treated, and for said people to still have to stay in the room.

I rented out an apartment unit on a one year lease. I was very satisfied throughout the duration of my time there.
My unit was furnished and in good condition. The furniture provided was modern. The place is well maintained and provides great amenities such as a well equipped gym and a pool on the highest floor of the apartment hotel providing a great view. The outside terrace has a wonderful view of the city and Mont Royal especially at sunrise and sunset. I spent quite a lot of my evenings there when able to. It's also right in front of Shaughnessy cafe, where you can get what I'd consider the

Great location, walking distance to where all the shops and restaurants are, very friendly staff. My room was clean and comfortable, I got a renovated suite, The only problem was the air conditioner which was too noisy.
It’s a nice hotel overall but the building itself is old and outdated. With a little bit of renovation and maintenance it can be a great Hotel.

CAREFUL! They won’t give you back your 150$ deposit because you didn’t clean the room. They said they have pictures, and when my friend asked for it, they waited 2 days before saying they deleted it. Cleaning costs are included in the price. Taking it from the deposit is theft. I do NOT recommend at all. Very poor customer service and bad administration.

Terrible terrible terrible! they lie about them having to clean your room just so they can keep the deposit. Make sure when leaving your room to take a ton of pictures so you can dispute them. They have a racist staff as well. Not professional at all. They are rude and unprofessional and you can see evidence of this by the way the respond to the reviews. Don't waste your time or money on this hotel.

I got this hotel because it had a indoor pool. It is 1.5 blocks away from the metro (greenline). I liked it because I was traveling with my 5 yr old and room had kitchenette, equipped with a oven, microwave, coffee maker, regular sized fridge. Room had a balcony that overlooked the street side. We were placed in an older decorated room (which was fine) but some of the rooms are more modernized. Pool is a roof top indoor pool, clean, small. The staff had a hard time keeping up with the towels for the pool so bring a towel with you. Great view from the balcony outside the pool. Found the front

So I'm having a hard time rating this hotel because it's worn and dated, but not dirty, and staff are nice, but I had to ask for the WiFi password, because they didn't automatically tell me. Everything in the room worked, but it was kind of ugly (in my opinion). Oh and the free WiFi was temperamental.
Full disclosure, I booked on Hotwire. With taxes and fees, and a discount code I had, I ended up paying $115 a night. At this price I wasn't too upset, but had I paid the $175/night that's listed on their website (not including tax), I would have been miffed. That

Absolutely horrible. Too many negatives to describe. Only positive thing was the front desk staff was very helpful.
Rooms poorly lit, furniture falling apart, ants, paint peeling off walls, cheap carpet, public spaces in desperate need for painting, public spaces smell, bathroom tiles falling off walls, no hot water in our kitchen, only 1 glass in the kitchen, etc. Morning breakfast poir quality- coffee was undrinkable due to contaminated water.

I rarely give reviews, particularly bad one.
I book this hotel at Hotels.com.
The pictures of the hotel and the room were nice, the reviews were good.
The price was attractive as last minute deal with 55% discount. I booked the room 30 minutes before checking in.
When I arrived the lobby was "ok", the person at the front desk helpful and cordial.
We went up to the room and the smell of mold and air freshener was a little overwhelming. The air conditioner was very noisy and inefficient.
The room was clearly outdated and rundown.
The bedroom was large and very basic.
As soon we removed

This place is great for the price! Nice clean rooms with kitchens that are actually stocked and functional(plates, glasses, wine key, full fridge and stove/microwave). Pool upstairs is small, but the saunas are a nice perk. Rooms are clean. Pull out sofa is terrible and a dodgy chair or two, but overall quite nice...

Pretty dingy hotel in downtown Montreal. It definitely felt dated, old, and dirty. I came with a group of 12 people, we got two rooms, and fit 6 in a room very comfortably. Each room is set up like a suite and has a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, bedroom with two full size beds, couch with a pullout bed, and a balcony.
The price is good for what you are getting but downtown Montreal is not the most exciting place in Montreal in my opinion. We had to uber and drive to most places we wanted to go and they were fairly far from the hotel. I would not stay here again because I think there are nicer

At first glance La Tour Belvedere looks LOVELY!! The lobby looks so clean, fresh and modern. You are so excited cause your like "wow this place is gonna be amazing" unfortunately the TLC for the building stops at the lobby. The rooms are no where near as kept as the lobby is. I was in room 808 and thank god I was only there for one night. The door looked like someone tried to push it open, the paint was chipped, the furniture was dated, the shower head was falling off, it was a 20 min wait for WARM water to shower, there was

I could give a higher review, the problem is 'what room do you get...'.
I had a terrific room on the 21st floor this week, after vowing never to return after the 'last visit'. An ugly room with uncomfortable bed and carpet. I got a room with the new floors, updated living area (couch, etc), great! The elevator is a pain; serves lots of people and it's slow. The pool is awful; small and i don't trust the water, if there is more than 4 people in it, it's uncomfortable; avoid.

I stayed in room 1801 with my wife and daughter.
The positives: The room rate was very reasonable and the hotel is conveniently situated 2 blocks from the Atwater Metro. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful.
Now the negatives. We are arrived and were given the wrong room, one with a double bed instead of two doubles. After getting this straightened out with the front desk, we were given another room. This room was very disappointing. The room had a very strong bad odor. We tried to cover it up with some odor neutralizes from the drugstore but had limited success.. There

I enjoyed this hotel, no complaints. The rooms are clean and huge- small kitchen(!), dinner table, couch, desk, balcony- and the check in and check out were simple.
Downsides are having to pay for wifi and parking, though both were at least affordable at around C$8 a day and C$18 a day respectively. Parking is also under the building, so that's fairly easy at least to come and go.
The other downside is that their indoor pool is pretty disappointingly small and was unheated when we went in May. But hey, it is a free indoor pool so not too bad.
Central location, right next to a ton of fantastic

To start, very friendly staff. Informative and helpful. My friend and I leave our bags and explore the city since we arrived way early (checking is at 4).
Came back from exploring and checked into the room at 330pm
Apartment has two beds (comfy to me) a living/dining room and a kitchen. Kitchen is stocked (except for fridge of course) so I recommended using it if you don't mind cooking while on vacation.
Couch can be retouched but was comfy, two tvs in the apartment as well.
Close and I mean close to major streets and metro, perfect place to rest our heads.
Would come back here again

I got the Belvedere via a Booking.com listing, and it turned out to be an okay venue.
Let me talk parking, first. Parking in Montreal is a nightmare. The parking beneath the Belvedere is limited and actually parking your vehicle turns into an adventure. Since the building is a residence as well, there are residents parked below, and there are spots filled with various pieces of detritus. Getting into the spot is tough. I really wish I'd driven my Smart to Montreal.
Thankfully, once the car was parked I could just walk around the neighbourhood and enjoy the ambiance (I ate breakfast
