Not recommended at all. They show different photos online and the hotel room is not spacious as they show in photos. Even the washrooms were so small that none of us were able to use it. Also the flush tank was broken so the water comes out on the floor each time we flush. All bed sheets and pillow covers were having stains on it.
Yes the location is very nearby downtown so it was easy to commute but other than that they don't even have anyone at the reception to open the door. No one answers the call unless you try 3-4 times.

Extremely cute, spacious rooms with a great vibe! The service is phenomenal - he was very patient with my questions, pointed us to free parking, and helped guide us to spots to see in the city.
The location is easy to find, and parking is close by right across the street. We didn't have any issues finding it.
Breakfast was complimentary, at a small Thai restaurant below the main building. They were offering a typical hotel breakfast (not Thai) which was delicious!
All in all, a fantastic experience. I will definitely be recommending Hotel de Paris and will hopefully be back one day!

We were very pleased with our stay there. The room is spacious to fit in all the beds for five of us. The staff are very friendly and helpful from beginning to the end. We had a wonderful Thai dinner at Pamika which is conveniently located downstairs. The breakfast there is also great, one of the best we've ever had. We're definitely coming back!

This is a very quaint hotel with alot of history. The people at the front desk were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was really nice with a beautiful display of meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, fruit, etc. The bed was comfy. My biggest complaint was I was in room 22, right above the Thai restaurant. You can hear the thumping of the music and it's impossible to get any rest. I put the pillow over my head and I could still hear it. I don't know why they even put anyone there, except if they are sold out. Finally, at 1030 the restaurant closed but the music continued until 1045 when I called

Clean rooms and centrally located. Parking could be an issue and we were unable to partake of the free breakfast that was highly reccomended. Was told 7:30am and at 8am the doors were still closed.

The Thai restaurant attached to the hotel is a MUST. Great flavors in a cool setting.

Overall a good place. Neither my boyfriend or I understand French, so it was nice that they spoke English! Rented a room off of AirBnB, the sweet suite. It was very nice! Great views of the city, especially at night. Beautiful room, nice open floor plan with bright colors and updated items, I definitely liked the design. Skylights were great to utilize any and all sunlight a February Montreal gives. Cleaning crew came through and made the bed, fresh towels, and more shampoo and body wash every day, as well as changing sheets every 3 days. Only things: floors were kinda dirty, could have used a

The stay wasn't really that bad. I did have problems with housekeeping. They 2nd day they cleaned the room but didn't leave any clean towels, we folded the towels and sat them in the chair but according to the front desk you need to just throw them on the floor. And in order to get the towels we had to walk across the street and get them ourselves, they don't bring you anything. The 3rd day our room just didn't get cleaned. The 4th day our room got cleaned but no toilet tissue or floor towel. When asked could we get our sheets changed instead of saying of sure, housekeeping

My husband and I stayed for a night as a get-away from the kids. The place was wonderful and we left completely relaxed. The staff was great and took care of everything with no stress, the room was very clean and well kept, and there was a European style breakfast buffet included with every room.
If you have any trouble with stairs, this hotel will be a problem for you. We stayed in room 36, with a king size bed.

Had a reservation that was wrongly booked and instead of apologizing I had 4 employees gang up on me and explain to me how I was wrong. Have never experienced worst customer service in my life and would pay double to avoid this place.

Really, really wanted to like this place for it quirks, but there were so, so many flaws in our stay that I have to warn other's away.

First, free parking is simply a lie. There are a few street spots available directly next to the hotel, but they still have enforcement times that require moving in the middle of the day during anything more than a few day stay. This was a major headache after driving all day to reach Montreal and finding out that there was no place to park within an easy walk of the hotel.

Second, the room (in the Annex across the street) was a mix of broken screens, inoperable

After first booking the hotel a couple months ago (we are staying for the F1 weekend) we called to confirm our order and found out that our reservation had been cancelled without anyone letting us know. That was a shock, especially considering no one even let us know and we had given them our card number/received a confirmation email etc. if we hadn't called by chance, we would have been SOL upon our arrival in Montreal. The front desk people didn't seem to really care about our predicament either. They were literally like "yeah that happens. bye!" My hub had to write several

2.5 stars, really. I wanted an inexpensive place to stay while visiting Montreal, and wasn't expecting anything spectacular when I booked a "budget" room at Hotel de Paris for $100 a night.

The room was adequate; tiny but clean and quiet. Check-in was fast and easy, staff were nice and able to change my American money for Canadian, and I was able to park my car for free in their driveway.

The location was good; plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops within a mile radius so I didn't need to use my car very much.

However, a few complaints prevented this from being a

Here is your fair warning....we had belongings taken from our room while we were out exploring for the day! What?! That's not the worst part. When we told the man at the desk, Alex, he brushed us off, and basically laughed at us. We tried to explain it to the next staff member, Patrick, who blamed us for losing the items, and STORMED out of the hotel during our discussion never to be seen. I have never experienced such terrible customer service EVER! Hospitality is not the industry for the staff at Hotel de Paris! If you dare to stay there, lock up your stuff!

I am not sure why these people a rating this hotel with as 3/3 because it was the worst I've ever experienced. People that are rating this 3/3 are getting paid, or working at the hotel. Dirty, full of bugs, and we found a dead bed bug. Not just our room, but in multiple rooms. the sheets were itchy, cat hair everywhere. No shampoo and really old towels. Their so call "Parking Garage" was a joke. $15 for parking per day in someone's house. We booked a 3 day weekend for our team of 22 ppl and we got out of there after the first night. Headed down to the Hilton Garden Hotel about

Where do I even begin to describe the atrocity that is the Hotel De Paris. I once stayed in a hostel in Cambodia and awoke to a rat gnawing gently at my face, and strangely this experience was not nearly as troubling as my experience at the HDP.

Upon arrival you enter a cheery converted Victorian mansion tastefully done in muted pastels and with plenty of exposed refinished wood to greet you, and for a brief moment you feel that you may have found the best deal in Montreal-but then you are quickly "relocated" to their other heritage building or 'D block" as we heard it lovingly
