This is the ONLY place I stay in Montreal. Great location, central, close to everything and yet quiet. The staff is awesome and extremely accommodating. I can even get a TMX fitness system installed in the room, flip the bed up into the wall, and I have a workout studio right in my room in the morning!

Booked this beautiful oasis twice in the last month.
To be honest, I was very hesitant in writing a review because i just didn’t want to let the secret out!
We booked a jacuzzi suite with balcony from Friday to Sunday; as soon as we checked in I knew immediately that we HAD TO EXTEND.
Parking is conveniently located across the street, about $15 a day.
Our first check in experience went very smoothly; even though their self check in system had a tiny glitch, they were available and prepared with a plan b and completely went above and beyond!
Their bathrobes fit so lovely! We lived in them

The hotel is simply amazing. Every conceivable thought has gone into the design and amenities. The bed is very, very comfortable. Bathroom was immaculate. We enjoyed having an evening takeout meal on the rooftop; great sights and sounds. Parking is easy and right across the street. The hotel personnel were fantastic, accommodating and responsive. We'll be staying here for all of our trips to Montreal!

Booked this hotel last minute and we loved everything about it. So many thoughtful touches, well-equipped kitchen and lovely amenities (rooftop terrace with a bbq, fresh herbs, kitchenette and jacuzzi). They welcomed our service puppy with open arms and had a bed and food/water bowls set up for him, which he loved! We will be back again :)

My husband and I stayed here at one of the Lofts and we loved it! The sauna and jacuzzi on the roof was so nice and relaxing. We barely saw any other guests! We especially loved the products the hotel had provided for guests to use. The bath salts were perfect! They thought of everything. And this spot is close to the nightlife, pubs and restaurants. Will stay again for sure!

I’ve travelled all over the world and without exaggeration this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Totally mind blowing experience for the price. Staff is super chill and accommodating. Amazing sauna and jacuzzi with whole view of the city. It is hard to believe that this type of hotel even exists. This hotel is PERFECT. Some of the nicest well thought out rooms ever. Deserves 100 stars!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a recent long-term stay at Boxotel. Overall, the stay was just what we were looking for. The decor is lovely- minimal and not sterile, as most hotels tend to feel. The in-room amenities including a full kitchen, bathtub, and washer-dryer truly helped us to relax and feel at home in Montreal. The hot tub on the roof overlooking the skyline was perfect for unwinding.
However there were a couple of cons that we felt important to mention:
Pillows: some of the worst we have encountered in a hotel. Very flat and lumpy and did not provide any support while sleeping.

Where should we start....customer service had to be the worst...I am a diamond member at hilton hotels and never would would get the disrespectful treatment from the hotel staff coming from a hilton staff let alone a manager..the fact that the customer safety and concern is there best interest and the fact that Linda was one of the if not the rudest personal I've ever came across....the fact that she said I dont care what you do sir...I cant help you....please never stay at this hotel customer service is the worst ive experinced in my life... money hungry vultures who care about money more

And it was very quiet the bed is very comfortable
The shower had a cool design and the foot print is very well done! I was very impressed oh btw is very well located!

The hotel has a slick modern vibe, which we like and that's why we chose it. We stayed there twice. Our first room was on the 5th floor and we loved it. It was really convenient to have a kitchen and laundry right in the room. We used the laundry as we had already been traveling a week. It was SO handy! We LOVED room 502. And there's a Nespresso machine with some capsules to use! And a balcony! I wish we had stayed longer. I would have used the kitchen, gym, and sauna. It was cold and raining, so we didn't use the little balcony. Loved the folding chairs that hung on the wall and

This is where you want to stay! The location could not be more ideal. Close to everything you will want to see. Public transportation just around the corner. To start the industrial vibe to the hotel and rooms is very tastefully done. Rooms are well laid out with a complete kitchen with a nice size fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and ever has a washer and dryer. We stayed 4 nights on the first part of our trip.
The reception personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. The gentleman at the cafe with our included breakfast were very nice as well.

So much to like about this apartment-style hotel. It's in a perfect location for someone who doesn't want to be right in the thick of it but still wants access to the Metro, restaurants, and all the good stuff (i.e., a relatively quiet corner which was perfect for us). Great staff. Wonderful breakfast (included!) in the morning. Loved having a well-equipped kitchen and a rooftop terrace with BBQ, hot tub, and other amenities. Our room had a balcony on which to enjoy our French-pressed coffee in our Boxotel robes each morning. Appreciated having free Bixis, too, which we took advantage

I feel like I could live in this place. Every amenity is smartly designed into a space that feels like a slick, modern, minimalist studio apartment. The rain shower fixture was deligtful. The remote controled lighting and window dressings were super cool. Room had a full kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher-unbelievable great deal. When booking my Montreal trip, I was immediately drawn to the aesthetic of this hotel. It's clean, modern, and minimalistic. I loved that there was a kitchen in the room, despite the fact that I barely used it. Everything is laid out well and there's a full-size fridge and a washer and dryer.
The bed was cozy and comfortable, the bathroom was sleek and functional, and I loved the giant tub in the room. I used it to soothe my aching muscles after using a Bixi bike to climb Mont Royal.
I also really liked that the bed is a murphy bed; if you push it up into the wall, you reveal

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Room included everything from kitchen utensils to a washer and dryer (w/ detergent!) which was extremely convenient. The rooftop is equipped with an outdoor spa which is great for the summer. Location is perfect too - walking distance to many places but also conveniently located near several bus stops to get you further out. Staff are very nice, and they even allowed us to check in as early as 8:30am free of charge since our room was ready. There's a coffee shop in the lobby that provides free breakfast every morning so that's a plus

My cousin and I stayed at Boxotel and had a wonderful time! Our room had every amenity, including a washer/dryer and fully functional kitchen. It was very quiet and peaceful, though right in the heart of Montreal, with plenty of great restaurants, shops and sights within an easy walking distance. The art and decor is really tasteful and the staff is lovely. Highly recommend!

First time in this brand new establishment, it will not be the last for sure. Everything is there to enjoy one single or several nights in Montreal. Very nicely decorated and furnished rooms with local products and furniture. Very comfy beds. Gym is small but with nice equipment and "icing on the cake" a sauna, steam room and spa on the roof top terrace with everything for you to enjoy sunny evenings with friends, family or colleagues.
It is also conveniently located to enjoy the best parts of town
