Spacious clean rooms, excellent location. Only issue we had was no staff were ever available. Hardly saw anyone at front desk, no answer to numerous phone calls.

Terrible service, dirty, outdated, the cleaning services were awful, no stairs, walls are so thin you can hear people’s conversations on the next room. Other guests were having loud music and shouting until 4am and staff did nothing. I asked for cleaning services and they did absolutely nothing but change the towels. They had a coffee machine and provided 1 package of sugar for a three days stay, I asked for more and they never brought it. The nightstands were dirty and the bathroom too. They did not provide hand soap in the bathroom only body wash. The window was opened and the room was freezing

My stay here was pleasant, the staff here was friendly. But bc of covid they cut back on amenities, no sauna room/ gym or breakfast. The front desk isn't staff after a certain time of night.

I stayed here two nights for business trip. Sadly, this place does not have the standard of a basic bed and breakfast in comparison to my stay in over 35 countries in all the continents. I had to make three separate requests to get a tea kettle, black tea , whitener and sugar and it didn’t not arrive at all on the last day of my stay. Due to CoVID recovery, no breakfast is offered now, a very good excuse and start for the day when you stay here ;)
TV is not working on this Saturday in the entire hotel ! Delux room was okay, but as it is on the ground floor and near to the stairs means, my sleep

We had a decent stay at the hotel.
Pros: The location was fantastic, a short walk to the Mont Royal, Guy Concordia station, lots of cafes and restaurants. The staff were very friendly - special thank you to the maintenance guy who helped us a lot! The staff were also quite responsive and quick for anything that we needed.
Cons: understandably the hotel is old and not everything will be in perfect shape, but the carpets could really use an update as they weren't very clean. The telephones in the room could also use a wipe. The first room we were in on the ground floor had lots of issues, including

In the email my parents got there was no mention of payed parking, their was barely any space available for parking they could not shower in hot water because an alarm would be set off automatically, they found out when they got there that you had to request for the person to come clean the room ahead of time and the bedding was not the best or comfortable at all and did not look like the pictures they saw when they booked the room. My parents felt scammed and mis lead by the way the hotel advertises themselves they were very unhappy and will definitely not return to that hotel ever again. I don’t

I very much enjoyed staying here. They got us a pet friendly room on an hours notice at 9 at night on a Thursday. The front desk staff were fantastic, polite, personable, helpful. It came with Valet Parking which is very convenient for downtown Montreal. The hotel is strikingly beautiful, fair price for the location. The room itself was clean, attractive, bed was comfy, water was hot. There’s an Nespresso machine in the room which is a beautiful touch. Definitely recommend staying here or their other property across the street.

We stayed for two nights in King room. I would say great value for money. It is a superb heritage place to stay but the administration needs to be more focused on this hotel. The staff is absent most of the time which causes lot of trouble to guests.

Super close to the Guy Concordia metro station. Great location on Sherbrooke to walk to Mont Royal and McGill. Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, and even upgraded my room for me. Had no problems with the room or getting fresh towels during COVID - service was pretty quick. The hotel is old so we did hear some people in the hallway outside our room, but we couldn't hear anyone next to us/above/below us. Would recommend this hotel to others!

No question, this is a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, if you want coffee there's no coffee to be had even for ready cash. Now call me old fashioned. But hospitality in a four-star hotel has got to include coffee in the morning. I will even accept a coffee maker in the room.
When I went to the front desk to inquire where I could get coffee I was told by the concierge (as he held a cup of Tim Hortons coffee in his hand) that I could walk four blocks to the closest coffee shop and get one there. This is just not good enough.
They advertise for full breakfast and afternoon tea but don't offer any
