Dong is one of those natural gems that knows how to cut a precision style! It took me years to find someone who could cut an inverted long bob that would fall into perfect place without major styling on my part. Aside from his amazing cuts, he also has a great personality, listens to what you want and is very attentive to you during your entire visit. Highly recommended.

I love this place for haircut and beauty makeover. Dong and Rebecca have been cutting our family's haircut for 20 years now.They also did an amazing job for bridal hair and make up for my little sister and aunt's wedding. I seriously swear everyone said during the event, I was breath taking! Also, if there is an event like party, date, work interview or moment I need to impress, I get my haircut with Dong, and he will take time to wash, cut and style my hair. He is perfectionist!!! Every little detail. I remember in my 20s when I went to get haircut with 3 other hair dressers coz Dong was busy

Today Dong did an amazing job on my hair. I had my hair cut 3 wks. ago by a butcher hairdresser I had to wear a hat as didn’t want people to see my hair. I bumped recently into a woman with a beautiful style and commented on her hair. She recommended Dong after my last experience my heart was thumping as I was scared I’d get another possible horrible job. Well all I can say is I’m over the moon with the fabulous style Dong gave me. His attention to detail and precision is amazing. He is an artist and you can feel he loves his work. Two thumbs up. :)

When I get my hair cut, I don't need a big part of the expense of the service to go towards the shop owner being downtown, or having the shop look like an art gallery or a plant nursery, and I don't need a glass of wine (that I am actually paying for with a $200 cut anyway). I'm not like that; I just need to have my hair cut simply by someone who is nice.
Rebecca and Dong are both very personable and Dong doesn't talk you into something that HE thinks you should have. If you just want a trim, the same trim you always get, he will happily do it. You get to watch Filipino

I am SO happy I found this place! I moved to Vancouver a few years ago and I was having trouble finding a hair studio that gave cuts that I liked and didn't charge a fortune.
I get my hair cut by Dong (I'm 99% sure that's his name but it would be incredibly embarrassing if it isn't). He gives a little scalp massage when he washes your hair. I nearly fall asleep every time because I'm so relaxed. I only ever get a trim but he does a great job and he dries and straightens my hair. He gets really into the drying and brushing part.
